Literature/book section?

I think it would be cool to have a literature section where we can share thoughts on books or anything of that sort. Also maybe have a subsection where users can write their own small stories or poems or anything written and share it with the community.

 

Should really get on that OT overhaul

As a student of a liberal arts college, i support this suggestion. However, i question the popularity of the section. I feel it would be neglected as the homework help section is.

 

I don't see a whole lot of threads in General or Media about books IMO, not enough to justify having it's own section. I say keep it as is.

Would you care to elaborate on why you support the suggestion? Also I changed mine to No support as OT is fine I guess, unless theres some real popularity increase for literature based posts.

 

I thought about making the suggestion, but I figured any discussion about books would fit nicely in the OT section. No support.

 

This was my thought as well. Adding a section my encourage discussion of course, but with something so specific as literature discussion or short story writing, there should be some showing of activity in the sections that exist already in order to justify a new one. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of it, but I don't think it's needed right now.

 

I really support this, other people have come up with this suggestion, and I believe that the section wouldn't be dead.

 

Sums up my thoughts perfectly. Thanks for the suggestion, but we won't add the section until there's enough activity to warrant creation.
