Technically yes, she does. But if she ever did anything which the nation didn't approve of, the nation would overthrow the Royal Family. They hold no power any more and can impact the country only a little more than you or I when we vote.
She's more of an icon than anything else now.

1. You didn't 'dig up' interesting things about God. 2. Perhaps Russia are larger than the US but that doesn't make them more powerful in any sense. England once had the largest empire in the world, yet England is small in comparison to France, let alone Russia. Don't cloud yourself with thoughts that size is everything, you won't get far as a man in life





Personally, I agree that Google has the power purely because they hold the ability to condition us with ad placement. They also hold our details, they have the ability to compile a list of even our interests and music tastes, anyone on their social network gives them even more...
I shudder to think what would happen if they turned on the world.

I'd say I have to disagree with this. The royal family have a lot of power, they own countless assets and real estate. While it may not be traditional power, she can influence through the assets quite a bit.

Mate, Presidents hold control over all of the nuclear weapons, and presidents are the only one that can decide weither they want to send armed troops into combat or if they want to use nuclear weapon. And you can see Hiroshima and Nagasaki as a result of what happens when USA uses nuclear weapons. Moreover, the US economy is worth 130 times that of Russia? Wow. The US economy is worth a staggering $192 trillion? That is quite a lot. Indeed, more than that of the entire world. Perhaps reconsider here, too.

Now, the ussr did get there asses kicked by germany, the ONLY reason they could even stay in the war was because they had a billion people to sacrafice. Thats it. Compare the amount of ussr military killed compared to the amount of german military killed.

As for the total asset of america, i did a quick google search and the first number that popped up was 200 trillion, and i was on my phone, so i went with it.

Every so often I come across an individual such as yourself. Part of me feels excited. Part of me despairs. I feel momentarily invigorated as I know I can impart new knowledge upon another. But I despair when figures such as ''a billion'' are thrown around - especially in regard to the Soviet Union. Oh dear.

The two sole nation states that have ever exceeded a population of one billion are India & China. The maximum population of the Soviet Union was, in 1991, roughly 300 million. 700 million short of 1 billion if you're struggling with that.

There is far much more depth to why the Soviet Union ''could stay in the war'' (let alone capture Berlin and knock the Greater German Reich out of the war as you so far don't seem to acknowledge) than the Soviet Union's greater population. Perhaps you will consider aspects of military strategy, practical matters (the Soviet winter), and a great deal more. I'm not going to take you through it all. Perhaps you will give up on this futile debate and watch some insightful documentaries. Anyone that believes the Soviets had a billion people needs an intervention.

Well, perhaps we ought to look a bit more in future. The US economy is worth some $15 trillion. Far short of the $200 trillion that you consider it to be. It might be worth looking at an unbiased source in future!
