So, i'm 90 dungeoneering, 62-87 botted. I chose a chaotic crossbow and maul however, i am getting into slayer and i am struggling to slay with a maul/whip. I want a rapier and i have 72k tokens, i feel that getting 200k tokens will take ages because of rage quitters, leechers and that sort of stuff. I was just wondering, if they added an option to trade back your dungeoneering rewards for maybe half or a quarter of what you originally bought them for, how do you think that would work out?

Trading back would be an interesting idea for people who do not like their rewards after they buy them, but unfortunately I doubt Jagex would ever do that :(

They want you to continue training the skill and eventually, earn enough points to buy ALL the dungeoneering rewards.

As for what you said about Slayer though - An abyssal whip is not that bad for slaying, and I still use mine for tasks constantly. It is much cheaper too and saves you the repair costs if you use it during half your tasks. As for a rapier, you could just join a dungeoneering clan (advertised on RSOF under "Adventuring Parties") and that way you are guaranteed good floors with a competent, 5 man team. That is what I have done, and what you could do as well to get the rest of your tokens :)

Thanks to Zerkerfist for a detailed answer, i think i'll just continue dging for now.

    Edit:

Before i continue dging, i have a promethium battleaxe (hopefully primal soon). I don't have a silk hood yet so should i bind a platebody or a shield, i have rank 4 tank ring. Gonna upgrade if it's really worth it.

That would be ideal however you know what Jagex are like.
Keep training once you have all the chaotics then you wouldn't need to trade in.

Trading back for a lower price sounds ideal rather than for the full price.

Tokens are easier to get once you are higher level, since you get more experience per hour.
