I dont see why PP isnt accepted? if its because of chargebacks then if someone DOES chargeback they will get rank devoked and banned from sythe?..

 

You can donate via pp but it can not be your first donation. If you donate with say gp first then you will be able to donate with paypal. Also I belive pp donation is in the do not suggest sticky...

 

If you pay with paypal as a gift i dont think you can get a return so idk

You can charge back with payoal no matter what method you use.

You can donate through payola but it can't be your first donation.
You have to donate through the other methods first.

It's to stop newcomers donating, scamming and then charging back.

Yes. Or you can use the other donation methods. Each new donation adds to the ones you have already done. Matt limited PP donations to limit chargebacks and things.

My suggestion is to donate 5.00 through rsgp, and from then on donate through paypal. If you donate through paypal, it is cheaper than paying with RSGP due to RSGP donation prices.

 

First step to building up your own reputation- establish your own identity. Why not make an avatar specific to you instead of indefinitely stealing mine? If you want people to recognize my avatar as the beacon of this supposed gold shop you are going to build from the ground up then there's nothing i can do about that- but to be quite honest i don't want to be inadvertently affiliated with you.

OT: The most feasible method of donating seems to be donating gold in small increments and then taking advantage of the newly offered paypal system subsequently after.

 

Chargebacks hurt your reputation with paypal; too many and they'll permanently close you. So it's not as simple as just revoking ranks/banning people

at the moment paypal is probably around the same with TBT offering 45.45 cents per mil and Nick offering 44 so...

 

Buy $5 worth of RSGP and donate with that. Or find someone who trusts you and you trust them that has a PayPal account, send them $5 or however much you want to donate, they will then send that to Sythe whilst PMing Matthew that the recent donation is on behalf of another user. Then Matthew will transfer the donation amount to your account giving you your donator status based on the amount you donated.

 

Also, like previously stated - the worth of a donator rank would semi be worthless as one could just donator, scam, chargeback - repeat.

 

You need 100+ posts, 15 days member already, and a 5 dollar donator rank. So you cant donate paypal on your first one.
