Most straight people wouldn't even have the slightest desire to do anything sexual with a member of the same sex. If you are having those urges and are tempted to do it/try it, you are most likely bisexual or homosexual.

I agree that you aren't necessarily gay just because you hook up with a guy. But the OP is asking if you would voluntarily hook up with a guy. Most guys obviously wouldn't want to hook up with another man by their own free will.

 

I agree to an extent, as our normal lives are. But, for people like in prison, a lot of straight people there have gay sexual experiences for the pleasure that they are unable to get from being in prison, which kind of makes you wonder, I don't know, just another aspect I wanted to bring out.

 

You mean most straight guys? Almost like you don't acknowledge the existence of women in that scenario. I'm 'straight' yet I am all for sex with guys, as I am female. Just felt like I'd point out that little mistake there.

 

Prison is like a mini-society of its own, with its own rules, consequences, and way of life. An absolutely HUGE part of the motives behind most prison sexual assualts/rapes, have to do with the "domination" that comes with beating somebody down and "fucking their ass" or making them give you head. In prison, they call this "turning out" an inmate and often its the new, small, weak males that are targetted because they are obviously afraid, unlikely to fight back and defend themselves, and will easily give in. Once a male gives in to these attacks and agrees to willingly give the sex/blowjobs or whatever the bigger inmate wants, the victim often becomes a literal sexual slave, passed around and traded between the inmates and abused to horrific extents.

Being able to overpower another inmate and dominate that person, literally making that person into your own personal sex slave, is a power thing and very important to maintain a high status in a prison. Prison is about survival, afterall.

But you are right, many heterosexual males often DO turn to gay sex in prison because they spend so many dozens of years on their own, with no way to achieve satisfactory sexual release. But not ALL prison inmates turn to homosexual sex willingly, in fact it is a very small number of the population. So I wonder if maybe these people had homosexual tendencies to begin with that they had just never discovered and explored.

I think that you pointing that out was a little unnecessary though. You should have been able to put two-and-two together and figure out what I meant there...

Since we have mostly been talking specifically about male-on-male experiences in this thread, I wrote that without really thinking about it, and having the already highly discussed male homosexual experience in my mind. Obviously my point was meant to be gender neutral though. By "people", I was referring to all straight people. Regardless of their gender, most straight people usually do not have a desire to hook up with a member of the same sex. Not always the case, but usually.

 

I knew what you meant, just can be a little picky at times when I see the way some people word things. ;D Edit: Added my preference anyway, so it wasn't all unnecessary.
