sports section

well guys i was wondering if we could add a sports section it could have subsections of sports like,soccer(football),football,baseball,cricket,hockey,basketball,swimming,track,etc.
any1 thing this is a good idea??

Good idea, it should be temporary-trial forums until people show activeness and dedication to those specific forums.

 

To be honest, I'm surprised Sythe doesn't have a Sports section. I think it's a decent idea.

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. How come this hasn't been really thought of..? :laugh:

 

We already have like 2 threads every month about sports (more when it's playoffs, etc.) and having a section solely it would be a bad idea. Console's was added because it's a constantly active subject but most things that could be added to a sports section is people talking about their games which hardly ever happens.

I love sports, don't get me wrong.

But it wouldn't really go with the theme of the forums itself.

I don't support, But I don't disagree either.

 

I'm going to have to disagree, frankly because the forums activity would be very low. Most of the sports questions can just be thrown into the general discussion forum and there's no need ot further categorize the threads within that forum.

 

Fully support, sports need there own section. Sports = ownage.

 

No I don't support. A whole section to sports itself would be inactive and useless, however maybe a sub-section within Off-topic for sports could be a possibility.

Yeah but there's seasonal talks, off-season talks. I betcha we'd get more members if there was a sports section. It might motivate them to press the few clicks to register
