I dunno why you are editing a screenshot or w/e to make me look bad, hopefully the admins can look at our PMs and see you are lying. Pretty sad tbh. Also what is my paypal? You would have no idea and I have sent it to others here so they will know.

 

Here is the actually screen shot, not the edited crap he is showing, he should get banned for this. Notice how clear mine looks and the stray pixels on his, it even looks photoshopped.

Would you people stop bitching, and file a scammer report if you've been scammed, then file a dispute via Paypal.. that way IF he is a scammer, you get the thread closed, him banned and your money back via Paypal.

Also I'll just put in here, and it's just my opinion.
That second screenshot that the OP posted looks like it could be edited more than the original one could be..
I don't know whether it's just the fact the OP has his browser zoomed in.. But it looks odd.

 

The one JackieJones posted is the fake one. As a Photoshop professional I can say that if you zoom into the picture you can easily see the pixels around the text, clearly showing it was edited.

Just report him, Anglachal.

 

I have reported it thanks, You can also tell it is fake by going into photoshop and checking, even though it is obvious from looking at it.

I don't have it zoomed in, I took the screenshot from my girlfriends netbook, can take it on a bigger monitor too

 

The guy doesn't even know my paypal, let alone be able to make a dispute!
Can take more screenshots etc, hopefully admins can just look in their database and see the correct pm anyway.


He must be having a boring day, I'll be back later to talk to admins/mods and get him banned.
Also still getting pms for the key so luckily people aren't being taken in with it. (still waiting to sell it to the person I promised though, leisure, I'll wait until tonight for you, I'll be on steam later!)

Do you have any screenies of an MSN conversation? If I'm not mistaken private messages can't be used as proof as they can be edited.

 

Private messages are stored server side and can be reported to the mods just like regular threads. Screens of IM programs can be edited easily like any other image.

 

As masliif says, you can edit any screenshot. It is pretty easy to tell if one has been edited though, eyes, photoshop and even an online tool. Some expensive s/w also does it. You can clearly see he was scamming from his screenshot being fake, the pixels around the text, me selling it legitimately etc and the user coming on to say that I was legit. More people pmed me after he accused me than before, shows how much it was working, free bumps

Also admins should have access to our PMs, through their accounts or through their SQL database. So it is pretty easy for them to see that he should be banned. He had literally no info in his claim you may have noticed, be it paypal, steam accounts, anything, apart from a badly edited screenshot.


I would also give access to my account to a mod etc, if an admin is not available to look through PMs. However that is not necessary, as I have reported the PMs also, so they have a copy of the legit ones.

A guy like that shouldn't be allowed spoil the forum. Look at the effort he went to, was quite sad.

 

Make a report if somebody has scammed or acts fishy. Op make a new thread - this one is too spammed up.
