To lower the risk of your private server encounters you should follow these simple steps:

1. Blank Trades
- In many servers the Staff can monitor trades, I personally think the trades that are "blank" have the highest risk. A example of a blank trade would be trading someone 1 dragon claw for nothing.
- Way to avoid blank trades:
Have the person kill you in wild, many times these logs can only be checked by high-admins. Or, you could have that person duel, also, many times these can only be checked by high-admins.

2. Is it realistic?
- If the person is very new to sythe and is offering huge amounts of Gold for little price, is the trade realistic?
- Ways to avoid this:
Find a trusted MM, you can always find a free MM that is usually safe to use.

3. Use a Middleman
- If you use a MM for a trade there is practically no way that you can be cheated out of you're money.

4. Use the tools you have available
- FireZ posted a great tool that everyone can use. Simply go to there profile and you can check how many sythe accounts they have. This can greatly reduce the risk, if someone has 5+ sythe account, and you look up the names of those accounts and 3 of them were banned, I don't think it would be a good idea to trade with them.

5. Account Buying
- This part is my opinion. Buying a Private Server account can be risky, unless you are dealing with a trusted member. Accounts are easily recoverable. In my opinion spending a couple hours working on the stats that you want is better than getting scammed.

6. Trading with Members
- Personally, whenever I go first I always check the members vouches (as should you). I always find it interesting when someone demands to go first and they say they have vouches and the vouches are all for the wrong game. If you person has very little vouches on a different game I personally would not go first. This is not true for all cases! Many people in the community are still very trusted!

Also, there's a way to check if a vouch is real or not. Press on the arrowlike thing next to the user that vouched him. If it's a fake vouch it will bring you to a random page.

 

Thats only if the vouch havn't been posted on the persons vouch thread? thats litterly only if the vouch is quoted into another thread that you can use that method, but good one still

One thing I'd like to add since I made this mistake is:
ALWAYS meet the person in game with a "dummy" account first. Never put your main/real account on the line because you'd be surprised how many "reputable" people can be PS staff.
