    Runsecape scammed me for my RSN

    Sythe profile: http://www.sythe.org/members/388894-runsecape.html

    How I was scammed: (Summarized)
    Transferred the RFT RuneScape name "Abyssal" from my account, to a new account Runsecape made (for his own IP, detailed in the story) and then it got recovered later the same day. The account and email registered were 100% under my possession before that. This was for 200m RS3 GP we both agreed on. I never got payed, or gotten possession of the account back yet. The names transferred were from "Merch says" to "Abyssal"

    Selling thread: http://www.sythe.org/name-sales/1699196-rft-rare-name.html
    It says sold, because he requested me to change it to that and get rid of the name "Abyssal" from all posts. (Displayed in private messages below)

    Story:
    On April 2nd, I posted a thread selling a rare RuneScape name that was RFT over here. I don't really care anymore, but the name was "Abyssal". After 3 days with a few bids, I decide to sell it for 200m to "Runsecape", with his posting here. Taking it on to the private messages now. He asks for a screenshot of proof that I have the name, and do (1, 2 NOTE: The previous name before this one was "Abyssal", making it RFT. Will provide more proof later on). After that, we discuss how we'd be doing the trade, and he says it's either I go first or use a MM. I decided to want to use a MM but he was a bit hesitant on using one because he thought the MM might go "rogue" and steal the name. Kind of stupid if you'd trust the MM with 200m anyways. He later mentions that the name would be on a fresh account, so I tell him that I can just put it on a fresh account myself and just trade the account. I even thought of using a fake email, but he insisted that I can still recover it because of the IP used creating the account. So I came up with an idea (a very bad one) that he can make the account with a FRESH email so it's with his IP. He does that, and then sends the account and email info.

    Something suspicious, he made the account's login a different email than the one he gave me. The one he gave me was a registered email to the account, but it did not belong to the login. The login was "[email protected]" but the registered email was "[email protected]"

    Anyways, the next morning I decide to transfer the display name - and I succesfuly do. Proof of transferring names, and that the account had the display name

    During the same day, around 8 hours later after I transferred the name to his account, the accounts password is changed and my registered email is not attached to the account anymore. I realized that because during the day I logged in a few times to the website to make sure the account was still mine and I'd figure he might do something like this.
    Proof: These are screenshots of me trying to recover the account with the email I registered it to, and proof that the email is registered to the account.
    I have displayed the emails with names "Merch says" and "Abyssal" to show that it was changed under my registered email. (If you add "Merch says" to your friends list on RuneScape, "Abyssal" will come up which shows it was transferred)

    So I message him asking why the details were changed, and he says this in his defense
    Basically, he's saying the account is locked and it's Jagex's fault when its not. He even said that Jagex has to do with changing account passwords and registered emails which I find unbelievable. (All in the PMs)

    Just an excuse trying to get him away from it. After that he just continues trying to convince me that it wasn't him. And to add something else, he stalled some time for a few hours when we were supposed to trade, probably in time to wait for the account to recover. (In the PMs)

    All of this was done through Sythe private messaging, so here is 100% proof that everything here actually happened:

    pmid=7281565
    pmid=7283448

    If this is not the correct way of showing private messages, please let me know how. I've reported the messages too. I would like this user to be banned, unless he admits his own possession to the account and pays me, or I regain possession to the account but that is unlikely.

    Would like this to be looked in to as soon as possible. Thanks!

    Edit: In response to Runsecape:
    I never said the account was locked, only the password and emails were changed. A few hours before it got recovered, Runsecape asked if it was transferred and I said yes. When we were supposed to trade (3pm) he stalled for a few hours saying he has to "finish something", which I believe is him waiting for the account to recover.
    I will not get in contact with Runsecape UNTIL this gets checked out with a moderator. The account is still not in my possession which is why I still have the report up. With this "compromise" he wants to talk about, all he'll do is try to convince me that it's not him that has the account. He is also trying to come up with another witty excuse saying that I have possession of the account just because I haven't responded to him. There is literally nothing more to talk about with this user, because the account is not in my possession whether he has it or not.

    Firstly, I did not recover the account. I believe this is the same problem that Reeser and I had and maybe even the I_D_B situation. He said in private messages that the account became locked, email changed than password changed. This is what exactly happened to me before the names I bought from Reeser became banned. I suspect that this will be the same situation. Also how would I recover it so quickly, Jagex support is trash, they would never respond to a customer in a few hours. I did not recover this accout..

    More : I am trying to reach a compromise with brandon but he never replies, he replied back once saying oh that means you have the account. I do NOT have the account. Will update if he ever messages me back.

    Edit: been 24 hours and he wont respond, starting to think he still has access to the account or something, doesnt add up

    Need someone to take a look at this as soon as possible. Runsecape is constantly messaging me about a "compromise", where I believe he will just try to convince me he does not have the account or it is locked. What else would he talk about? He's also starting to come up with more excuses as "I have the account" just because I did not message him back more than once after making this report.

    I apologize for this embarrassingly long wait.

    After looking through the evidence provided, I am holding Runescape responsible.

    He has been banned and he must return the name to you or pay 200 mil before he can consider disputing this ban.
