Old Rs Or New?

Everyone enjoyed old RS more, for whatever reason, i think it was because it was most of our first multiplayer game, anyways i loved the old RS and would give anything to have it back.

 

I agree completely with these two posts. Even thought the new version has some perks, the old version completely outweighs them.

Old. Didnt mind the "crappy" graphics, enjoyed w2 trading in Fally, real-world trading wasn't much of a problem, and bots were near non-existent. Also, we didn't have useless skills like dungeoneering.

 

Prefer old since im a 03 player.

Old for sure. Pre 06 was the best. I remember when I first started running ess for larryr untill I could buy full zammy then getting 44 rc and over the weekends I would get ess runners and pay them 3k a trip lol and they all loved it, bringing there friends. If we had 10+ I'd also do it threw the week. Made a fair bit off that. Ended up with 74 rc and was ranked in top 1000!! Then stopped that after a while and then bit later barrows came out smashed that for a few months. Brought a purple then up graded to red for 2mil haha then upgraded to white. Then a mate told me about luring at edge. He must have been one of the very first to do it at edge bridge behind the tree. For months on end me and my brother made sooo much. Both lvl 74 I had tb and he had barrage. Had our main with phat luring. Another account walking around world 2 looking for our lvls and would just pm offering to buy what ever they were selling. Everyone fell for it lol well for the first few months then people started to catch on.
Ended up with white mask set few santas me and my brother both spend so much on our pker then just pked flat out for years never making money because of all the luring. When everyone new about lurig we use to do hunting for them haha most where afk and with 2 account Dds specing they had no chance
Years later came back white was junk sold it for like 450mil biggest fail I've ever done. After I done that I brought 21 Easter for 3.4mil each and a a mate told me to sell them they won't go up hahaha

 

old, like before godswords and claws and all this crazy shit now.

 

old was more fun because it was new but the new game shits on every aspect of the old game quality wise

 

i have to say new because i havnt been around long enough to say old.. :S

 

I never really played in the older days. Pre-close of free trade. I do think I'd like to go to about late '06, early '07. Go do some old ass styles of staking. Seems like pking was really stupid then though.

 

Old runescape. 2005-2008. << The glory years.

 

runescape is better now a days not trying to be a hater ...

 

Despite as much as scape has improved lately, I'd have to say old.

The new RS looks almost like the old RS with the Wildy back and Free Trade back. But the recent update by Jagex with the graphics destroy my eyes.
