I know it's simple but I was wondering what you guys think, also if you were to buy it would it be free or how much?

 

Nice start. It looks like a big mess right now, though, so you might want to move the text to a corner and make the BG image more visible / replace with a more visible one

I wouldn't pay, it's too messy, low quality and can't read half of the text.

 

Very low quality, barely readable.. Not that good.
Either free or skip it, plain text would work better

 

At first I thought it was amazing and I should go into business, now I realize that its garbage

 

Photoshop is an amazing program indeed mate but not for people like yourself who give up so easily and thinking that they can do everything while using it whithin 2 days.Not to mention that you've followed 0 tutorials to understand the main uses of photoshop.
Anyways, if you still wanna know how to transparent a layer, just untick the "eye" icon next to the bottom layet which is supposed to be your background and then save the file into a .png format.

OT: I would not buy your SIG. It's way too messy and no that readable. Heed SprayWipe / Kinaesthic advice

 

Oh, I thought you did quit photoshop since you didn't like it.Anyways, try following some tutorials and you'll do great in the future!

 

As said before too low quality and bland, needs more textiles and texture to sprouce up, noamyoungerm has the right idea.

It's hard to get past that, isn't it?

Anyway, I suggest you start looking at some tutorials, and start experimenting on your own with some effects. Don't just use layer style, try using different effects from the Filter category, etc.
