Believe me, I know how much work it is. I just finished getting EVERY SINGLE requirement myself, except for some of the pre-required quests for Temple at Sennisten. I got about 7 more to do until I can do Temple and finally use Turm. Keep plugging away at it man, you will get there.

Good luck! You should try and do The Knight's Sword, it'll give you the first 30 Smithing levels.
