    Statue of Limitations.

    X339's pardon sparked this.

There should be a statue of limitations of some sort, the fact that he even got punished for something in 5TH grade is ridiculous, do you even know how mentally unstable we all were then, I'm sure EVERYONE did something that is bannable then maybe steal someones pokmon card its stealing and scamming therfore should be banned. Things like this need to have a statue of limitations, if x339 wasn't friends with all the mods or wasn't well liked I don't think he would of got a pardon, . But that's not the point I support his pardon because I like him, but he shouldn't even have to post a pardon for an offence he was banned for in 5th grade that's just unrealistic. Some sort of statue of limitations need to be in place things like this aren't and shouldn't be ban able offences.

I can't even see a sorry there can you?
I have made lot of friends here so I deserve a pardon because mods like me.
No regret, other then saying it was stupid what he did as a child is it possible he does this older and its not stupid because he does it correctly?
Some of the stuff my grammar is horrible, unorganized doesn't prove anything.
The fact someone went throguh all that trouble to dig it up is even stupider.
"And when I do trade I do it legitily" Is that to say when he doesn't trade he isn't legit?
pardon is un well written, no format, no regret, no contributions

This isn't to insult him but to point out how seemingly corrupt that pardon is.

I'm sure if any other member who made a pardon like this wouldn't even have any posts, expect for SuF because hes honest, and never cares what other mods think or say and he posts on almost everyones.

We need to have a sort of statue of limitations for this sort of thing, unless you scammed a sythe member or something of that nature of course.

    Statue of Limitations.

First off, I suggest you pay more attention in english class, as your wall of text is sub-par grammatically.

Secondly, it's "Statute of limitations" not "Statue of limitations."

Thirdly, he was banned as protocol. Regardless of how young/old you were, a scam is still a scam, a phish is still a phish, and so forth. High Pardons are granted to users who contributed to the community, and as you yourself agree, x339 was well known in various sections of the boards as well as IRC, so his plea for a high pardon will be taken into consideration.

There's no need for a "Statute of limitations", this site has been running for 6 years. Although people may change from the age of 12 to the age of 18, the same can't be said for older generations (i.e. 40 to 46).

The rules are there for a reason, break them, and you must comply with the privileges granted to you by the staff if you wish to be unbanned. That's how it has always been, and that's most likely how it always will be.

    No support.

    Statue of Limitations.

Your topic title is "Statue of Limitations" I assume you were referring to "Statute of Limitations" which is clearly defined as "an enactment in a common law legal system that sets the maximum time after an event that legal proceedings based on that event may be initiated."

I addressed that by saying that the forum has only been running for 6 years, and for some people, that's not enough time to adequately change character, ethics, morals, & outlooks.

I don't think you clearly understand the purpose of a High Pardon either, as stated by Finn, "The issuance of pardons is solely at the discretion of the staff. Pardons will be issued on a case by case basis, and only to those members whom we believe are of some value to the community, and whom are generally of good character and conscience, despite their previous misdeeds."

In other words, those who were more active/helpful in the community, will have their High Pardon's taken into higher consideration despite their previous misdeeds.

A High Pardon reflects upon an individual's value to the community, as opposed to an apology for the actions which got them banned in the first place (although that's usually a given)

    Statue of Limitations.

Been denied before and not changing. The staff are smart enough to deal with cases from long ago is a lesser serious manner.
