    Movies That Make You Think
    I need some movie suggestions of ones that make you think. Ones that have crazy underlying story plots that are not revealed until the end and surprise you/add twists to the movie. Also more adventure infused.

    Specific ones I am think of are Inside Man, National Treasure, etc.

    Any suggestions?

    the prestige is amazing directed by Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Inception) also inception if you havent seen it. but to close this thread out with the most confusing makes you think movie ever.

    I disagree, it's all pretty one sided while watching the film and it doesn't really become ambiguous until it finishes.

    Aftershock, it's about an earthquake in China 1977ish.
    Without a doubt one of the best movies I've ever seen. Too bad it's spoken in mandarin.

    My favorite movie in the genre you described is Fight Club. Its very interesting and makes you think, and the ending will surprise you if you haven't seen it already.

    So many of you are just repeating Inception. You aren't helping at all. Memento, The Machinist, Brick and Gone Baby Gone are some good thrillers.

    Inception is for sure one to think about. At the end it really does leave you thinking, then you think about all the small bits in the movie because of the ending.

    Inception, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Stepford Wives are all very good movies that will get your mind working a bit.
