Nah dude. Personally, I think it is a lot like the previous CoDs (especially mw1 & mw2) but all in all it's a pretty damn fun game, though no real new features aside from theater mode and all the new online shit.
Still fun...anyone having a problem with Steam where it says too many disconnected paths on campaign and errors out?
It feels exactly like MW2 with new guns, perks, maps, etc. I haven't noticed ANY major changes in gameplay mechanics. However, I do very much enjoy it so far. I think it is a lot better than MW2 personally mainly because the maps feel/play a lot better and so do the guns. Also, the leveling system on the guns is actually pretty sweet. All that said, I don't feel like it's worth $60. I don't appreciate paying full retail price for something that isn't much more than a rehashed version of the previous game. For that reason, I'd rate it around a 7.5/10. If it had been $40 or so that rating would be easily 9/10.
Wow, and I expected so much from this game. Thanks for the info guys, I guess that I'll just buy BF3 :/
It's pretty much a MW2 Dlc with a few new things here and there. Basically the kill streaks are new and even more overpowered and all that stupid machine pistol crap is back. Oh, snipers are twice as good as well if you know how to use one then they can and often are better than assault rifles.
Quickscoping is actually encouraged in MW3 now, it is worth buying. But I won't be buying anymore CODs till they do something about the 6 year old engine for it. It's a shame they put shitty consoles over PC.
You're going to buy it? Go for it, I honestly never really played CoD games for the online aspects (I sucked too much) I usually just played the campaigns over and over again, and they usually have very good storylines. CoD campaigns over BF campaigns anyday
