Looking for ideas for a website

I am planning on creating a new website for gaming news/reviews. I have a name idea, and basic concepts, but im interested in knowing what people want on one of those kinds of websites. What would you like to see? What do you think is a good feature? Im open to all suggestions. Thanks for the input

Woops, my bad. Sorry about that. I was wondering why you posted the same thread twice...

Anyway, make sure you update frequently, post lots of videos, make the articles interesting via interactive fan polls and images/videos, etc. Try to have something consistent the team does so frequent users have something to look forward to (Minecraft Mondays, LiveStream Saturdays, etc., etc.)

For each game you review, maybe you could add an embedded Youtube clip with some gameplay footage and commentary (done by YOU or your team of course, with your own opinion on the the game's features, unique qualities, and pros/cons), aswell as lots of screenshots. I always find that before playing a game, I like to look at lots of screenshots and watch some videos of the gameplay just to get a feel for what the game is like. If you added this along with a written review for new and/or existing games, it would make it much more interesting for people who don't really enjoy reading through a big review.

For the people who DO like to read, maybe you could add interesting interviews you find from the game developers and people who work at the studios, and provide people with "sneak peek" information about upcoming games, and what the guys are working on behind the scenes. Again, when I am researching a game that is soon to come out (for example, finding information last year about the upcoming Skyrim), I find it very interesting to read news straight from the developers about all the new features and cool things that they are planning on implementing into their games in the future.

This is all pretty standard stuff so I apologize if these ideas aren't anything new that you haven't already considered I am not an avid gamer myself really, other than Runescape, but these are a few of the things that I look for or that catch my interest when I am researching a new game.
