Sounds like its working good if you get itchy, maybe just take a bit less. Two years ago my first preworkout was NO shotgun, that stuff worked amazing for me. Nowadays nothing works even though I cycle off for months at a time, so I don't bother. Go on bodybuilding forum under supplement section and just ask what the best ones are, you'll get a general idea. Or look at the most bought items from bodybuilding site, even though the most bought preworkout is going to be jack3d probably.

I've also been using Jack3d, I found SuperPump250 also worked really well.
I'm trying Muscle Marinades pre-workout next, Ive heard it's one of the strongest out there at the moment.

All the gym junkies i know use "Black Powder" i've used it a couple of times, makes your face itchy and all that. Probably the same as all the other stuff. These guys have tried a few different ones and caffine pills but they are sticking to Black Powder. This is in Australia btw

& Creatine would be your best option, easy, simple, and effective.

Don't dive into all the bullshit.

    Best pre-workout out?

I've personally only taken BSN's NO-Xplode, 1 scoop is a really strong dose, along with some up-tempo music before your workout and I guarentee you'll be awake just wanting to lift.

The only stack i've taken is No-Xplode, Cell mass and ON Whey, and this has definitely given me the most strength gains.

I'd like to suggest reading more and researching yourself about the different supplements out there, as in KNOWING what they do, what caffeine does, what creatine does EXACTLY, not the benefits they tell you, but researching what they actually do to your body.

As far as I know everyone has a different tolerance to caffeine, and that is really the only thing a pre-workout helps you become alert, its the caffeine, its not the nitric oxide or the BCAAs or any of that shit, the caffeine is the only thing that makes a pre-workout a pre-workout.

I'd also like to suggest you do not really need supplements all the time, it is perfectly fine to gain muscle with a simple whey, creatine and a good diet/sleep
