Getting music onto Ipod. 1m Reward

I did this all the time on my old computer. Recently purchased a new computer, and now I plug in my Ipod to add more songs to Utorrent, and add them to Itunes, and I can not sync this Ipod to this computer's Itunes. If you can help me please do.

Want to see this done over teamviewer, but only if trusted. If not trusted please walk me through this.

Try updating your ipods firmware / updating itunes. Restart your computer, try using a different ipod cord.

 

I have done all that. It says this Itunes library is empty, and if I sync my Ipod with it all my songs will be erased. I have downloaded all the songs +400 other songs to Utorrent, but can not get them back onto the new Itunes.

 

yes, dont sync it.

Find the folders where your downloaded music is and drag the music files into itunes, this will bring the songs into itunes.

Just remember don't sync once you have the music on your computer if you have music on your ipod. If you sync you'll loose your music. So you have to drag the new music onto your ipod.

 

Itunes has brought me so much misery over the years. I can say with absolutely no ego that i am moderately competent when it comes to computers, but i never did solve the problem with Itunes on my old laptop- it just wouldn't open up one day. Since then i've grown accustomed to Windows Media Player (never thought i would) and use Itunes occasionally to update my ipod.
