All his accounts had a blank ip and were wiped within several minutes.

Enough said, that's not even humanly possible.

Its been established that a bank pin would not effect the result if it was a hacker or jagex. Programs used by hackers can be set up to record an RS bank pin.

Blank IPs don't determine whether or not it was Jagex, but being wiped in such a short time frame of EVERYTHING makes it only realistic that jagex is responsible.

 

I've literally read through every post, i think it's safe to say it was Jagex tbh. Must be really devastating for you to lose so much.

Also, his passwords were never changed.

 

When you are hacker you dont need passwords. You just take the gold.

 

If you hacked let's say 5 accounts of someone, you're going to log in on them 1 by 1 and not change the password first?

It's to create another opportunity. What if oxo came back for 5 minutes logged onto a yet to be xfered mule, notices nothing and goes away for longer. The outcome would've changed if the passwords had of changed and oxo would've noticed.

I've gotten a blank IP before and it really spooked me out. Everything was fine though. I'll try to remember to screenie if it happens again.

Anyway, I think we can rule out a keylogger. If someone was using a keylogger/RAT or whatever, there's no reason why they would just try to steal when Oxodium was AFK as opposed to actually asleep or something.

That leaves Jagex or the story is fabricated to get attention or increase gold prices.

I don't think this is made up, even though the stock is pretty outrageous, it is reasonable considering that many people were banking on an increase in gold. I also trust Oxodium quite a bit. Even though the fact that little things were taken is a bit odd, that it may still be Jagex. We only have a very small sample of Jagex's actions on this and there's no reason why different J Mods wouldn't do things differently from each other.

 

It was most certainly JaGex. For him to clear all mules in the time you went to the bathroom. Unless you shit showered n' shaved in there It was JX

Just curious, but since you lost $8000 around how much do you have now? and im terribly sorry for your loss

 

My guess is it was JaGex related atleast, a human player could not clean 5 seperate accounts in the space of 5 minutes.
