Does Afking at bandits count as botting? just want to be safe.

No, AFK'ing does not count as using third party software.

 

Getting XP while AFK is against the rules (But I've read the rules few years ago).
Just look it up u lazy mess.

 

Tons of people AFK bandits, it's the same as AFKing Ivy, it's all legit, no 3rd party software, tons of people do it

 

I spend days and days there getting 99 str and watching movies lol.

It's not considered botting but it is against the rules.

Not sure how strict they are on it though, but, there could be a possible punishment for it.

Just make sure not to have anything on you that you can't afford to lose.

You never know what weird shit might happen.

Don't AFK bandits, but you can "idle" them, you won't get banned...

AFK = away from keyboard, and not botting.

Just like what this guy posted, AFK'ing is generally not allowed if you are away from the keyboard. However, your character will log out if you are away from the keyboard for too long, so by "AFK" most people simply mean that they are paying minimal attention to the game.

I personally AFK train at bandits all the time. I drink prayer renewal potions and leave my character for 2-3 minutes unattended, while I watch Youtube videos, browse Sythe, sit in my computer chair and watch movies on the TV next to me etc. By the definition, I am technically not actually "away from the keyboard", but I usually have the window minimized while I do something else or have my attention on a movie, and my character still gains exp at a steady rate. This is done by MANY players, and you will not be punished for doing it.

Just remember to check your character every few minutes to see if you need to sip another prayer potion, answer somebody who is speaking to you etc.

 

They make you auto log-out now if you dont click ont he screen for 5 minutes+ , so if you want to stay there for ages you need some sort of clicker

 

I had a ban for doing that before. It said the offence type was "power leveling"

 

AFKing anything is not efficient now, even if in combat or such. You will be logged out after 5 minutes if the screen is not clicked, so you'll need some sort of clicker. Unfortunately, clickers are classified as bots/macros.

 

Lol there's no way your gonna get banned for afking. EVERYONE does it, just make sure you drink your p pots at the right time, or if your 70+ def then you can tank them with full torags
