Hockey

I'd just like to start off by saying, hockey is my life. I played it for about 8 years, and regret not sticking with it, but I still play with friends, go to free skate, etc. etc. My sister still plays and is well on her way to becoming a great college player one day. I started as a mite (age 6 I believe) and played until I was 14.

In the NHL the Sabres are my team, I grew up watching them. Ryan Miller is my idol, and is undoubtedly one of the best players to ever be in the NHL. As for the AHL I follow the Amerks because they are the Sabres farm team (again woot) and when I was a kid my family used to get season tickets to the games. Now as for college, I am a HUGE fan of the RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) Tigers. I go to many of the men's games and go to almost every single one of the women's games. The RIT women's (and men) are one of the greatest teams IN THE LEAGUE. And yes because its college, that is the entire country.


So what about you guys? Is anyone else as passionate about the sport as I am?

 

It may be one of the only core American sports that I've never seen a full game of or know nothing about. Only thing I know about Ice Hockey is Wayne Gretzky, lol.

 

Huge hockey fan here, since the early 90's when I was a kid. Ryan Miller is awesome and I would love to see him in a Wings uniform one day (very doubtful, but I said the same about Hasek).

 

I am very passionate about Hockey. I am Canadian, it is my favorite sport, it is my life. I am 14 and have been playing Hockey since I was 3, do the math :-D. My favorite nhl team is the Edmonton Oilers!! ;-D

 

Hockey is your life? That's pathetic that anything is your life except your life..


But I just found out about hockey like 2 months ago.. Go Blackhawks!
