I'd be more happy, if a hacker had taken the GP. Since that's something I can easily prevent happening again, if it was Jagex, then I'm slightly more worried.

If the IPs were left clear then it was jagex as when I received one of my accounts back from jagex after it was banned for botting the IP was blank, there's no way for a hacker to leave the ip blank it would usually show the ip of a vpn/ proxy if it was a hacker who got you.

Edit: forgot to mention the bank was cleaned when i got it back had around 200-300m which I bought

 

I know a lot have posted but I don't believe it was him tbh, unless he sent u a link and u ran adobe or java on it. Do u remember any links or downloads he may have sent u? If you hadn't downloaded or ran anything then there is no way he couldv'e cleaned you.

Another possibility is that u were on teamviewer, but I doubt u'd be dumb enough to fall for something like that. I suggest getting Malwarebytes anti-malware and run a full system scan on ur comp. Even if you change your passwords, if your on a keylogger, the keylogger will detect them. I also suggest getting Keyscramblr which encrypts your keys on firefox, and the paid version does so on chrome and works for games such as Runescape.

Sorry if i was no help, but there is no way he could've controlled your screen or account if you weren't infected.

It 110% logically has to have been Jagex when you think about it.

Firstly in the matter of one trade, how is a hacker supposed to obtain 5 random mule accounts pw's usernames and bank pins when only 1 is logged in,

If it was a keylogger surely it wouldnt wait until it obtained 5 usernames then wait until you went to the toilet before it stole the GP's..

Now the only way i can imagine IT WAS a hacker would be if you were to store Usernames & PW's in a notepad that it could access. but that would be plain stupidity,

I firmly believe that this was the work of Jagex, theres no other way that an account could be left with no IP trace.

A keylogger probs got all your information tip refresh your i.p and change everything about you and the passwords for your accounts and everything and just scan your pc and restart

 

When it happened to me everything over 50k taken and I was left with dif IP and random shit being worn.

 

Depends what kind of connection you use. Generally, you can make the last logged in IP appear as anything you want.

That being said, I strongly assume it was Jagex. If it were a hacker (especially if you met them off Sythe, which that is the most probable scenario if it were a hacker), your Sythe and MSN would have been taken as well so they could try for a maximum payout.

Since nothing other than RS was touched, and with big traders lately getting account wealth reset, the only logical conclusion is Jagex boned you.

 

Yea Im pretty sure that theres softwares to get rid of the certain keylogger files. I feel bad cause I was on sythe when you joined. with $25 donator rank. and 100 posts. now your like tons of vouches and 400$ donator lol. Probably all of your profs there.

Why would the location have anything to do with Jagex erasing you?

 

One might say that there is no IP because with Jagex cleaning you it is not a 'user' accessing your account/logging in.

and also there is another new scam out
where somebody of an imposter of scottay was screen sharing with skype and he was logged in scottay's sythe account and when i asked for a pm he blocked me

Hi, I dont know if someone already posted this, but my ip is blank too, but then you click on it and it shows up. Try clicking on where your ip usually is and it should show up. Idk why it does this though.

about a week ago i did a 3bil trade and later on the night i tried logging in to do more staking and i wasnt able to!!!

I was banned for 1 week for real world trading but i wasnt wipped out so i am not sure if we can relate but i feal for you.
