the bad work of cosrob got 2 people or more scammed by this guy "legitupgrade"

for the first time on sythe i got scammed and i can't deny it it's my fault but it could have been prevented by cosrob

edit: it could have been prevented by cosrob so i hope he apologies for the people who got scammed and demoting him would be the right thing to do since it was't his first mistake.

It could have been prevented but I think cosrob might have accidentally forgot to ban him or he may have forwarded it to a global but in any case I don't think he should be demoted or should owe a refund. It wasn't his fault anybody got scammed as a mm should have been used considering hes only been here for a few days... Sad to see a legit user like yourself get scammed though

To be fair watching a 15 minute video isn't a great way to spend time but if it was extracted to screen shots it would have been better proof, also many other mods have denied reports because it was a video and I think in the stickies it says not to make exceedingly long videos unless needed, but in that case it could have easily been made into screenshots.

 

Forgetting to ban would be no excuse though; that is like forgetting to put out a house fire after you arrive. If he was forwarding it to a Global I can understand though, it just seems as if that guy went on a scam spree this morning.

EDIT: I think proof is proof, and nothing that shows scamming should be denied.

 

Why did you trade with him when you knew that there was a scam report against him?

 

To be honest, 15 minutes is not that big of a deal to totally disregard the report. It's their responsibility to take care of the scam report, yes 15 minutes is a lot compared to other scam reports, however, after skimming through a few scam reports, most of the pictures on there take around 10 minutes to read (the big albums people produce). If he didn't want to watch the video, he could have left it for another mod.
Not sure why he denied it for 'bad quality', I could read it perfectly.

 

1. You traded with a user who had a scam report against him.
2. You didn't even bother to use safety precautions, IE a middle man.

Yes, Cosrob didn't do a fantastic job, but it's not HIS fault YOU failed to practice safe trading 101. For someone who's been around here for as long as you have I'd have thought you would've known better than that.

 

yea I watched the video it is a lot to watch and screenshots would have been much better since its easy to refer back to a image when needed for taking a second look, it wasn't bad quality though but I know for sure whether no mod would watch a 15 minute video because I'm pretty sure in a case like RsSalesguy the report would have to be discussed afterward but there was no reason to deny it based on poor quality since the video was perfectly clear.

 

Poor effort on cosrob's front by forgetting to ban him, after being found guilty. I suppose we are only human, thus we all make mistakes.

First of all I never actually was going to do any scam reports for that night, but rather organise the section for whoever was going to do it - by organise I mean merge thread where people respond etc, etc. I just don't liers so I went to the thread and got his msn, google'd it, posted the cache of it, then went to bed (or shortly after). Hence, organizing it for anybody who wanted to do a scam report so they don't have to go looking... I never read the thread, nor did a scam report...

Secondly, you try and watch a 15 minute long video with the highest quality - IT WAS STILL UNWATCHABLE. Not to mention Australian internet didn't help the speed of it watching.

By your logic any mod who doesn't do a scam report the second it's reported should pay for the person who was scammed. It's their fault the user wasn't banned, it was their fault they scammed another person. Now do you really think every mod should be held responsible for it? No and why would I be held responsible for it?

It could of been stopped by anybody, it was coincidence that I went on thread.

You could of done a better job by looking at the scam report section... We work on a two way street.

Anyways, as I've said before I never intended doing the report, nor did I do it. So that's why he was never banned.
