Need Movie Suggestions!

Since the people in the irc were not very helpful ( ) I need help finding some movie suggestion for tonight.

I am looking for some sort of actiony movie. Some spy, war, shooting, government, mercenary, middle east or africa type thing. Or anything similar to that. (If there is something you liked that falls into one of those categories or something you liked dont hesitate to suggest it please )

Anyways just a few examples of some things that I enjoy that come to mind really quick were : green mile, black hawk down, hurt locker, jarhead, blood diamond, bourne movies, spy games, hitman, stuff like that

However something I would like to note:

I usually tend to prefer movies 2001 and newer, I usually will watch late nineties at the latest but that's about it.

 

Slumdog millionaire

The Machinist is one of my favorite movies. As far as the middle east goes, I'd try Lawrence of Arabia. You might also like Casino and Goodfellas.

 

Point Break has a lot of action, I also would suggest Source Code as I just recently watched it and it was very good.

 

Green zone, good movie which had all the things you were looking for.

Also the transporter movies 1,2, and 3 are all pretty good with some action and cool driving.

I agree the bourne's are some of my absolute favorites. I will look into killer elite too thanks.

Moh suggested it too, I looked up the plot and it doesn't seem like it has a ton of action. What do you think?

Blood diamond is one of my absolute favorites, I found jarhead interesting too. But seen em both.

 

It's no way an action movie, but there is action in it if you get what I mean. I liked it quite a bit, I'd recommend checking it out.

 

A serbian film. Has some action in it, depends what you think of action. Don't get turned off and close it though, it gets better.

 

Sucker Punch, it's a good film just under-rated.

V for Vendetta is good also.
