Yeah, talk with the mod that issued the sectional ban, and if he declines then state your case in the dispute section.

Apparently Chinesekid used some non-free software in his thread layout, which he wasn't allowed to use without buying it. Obviously Kin didn't ban him to 'take out his competition' because that'd mean Kin would lose his moderator spot and possibly even get banned.

 

why couldnt they drop this issue its not like he severly scammed anyone and he has contributed so much to the sythe community
i mean there a bigger fish to fry have a look at the god damn scamms that take place in the account sales section

 

He violated the rules of the product in question. Real life rules apply on Sythe as well.

Well... I thought He got his forumban from the thing with star-scream.
I checked MMOE and turns out CK has a thread there too which basically means there is not point in trying to buy out his C4D docs...

Anyways, I guess using Pirated software would be against Sythe rules.
The total price I paid for all of the software I use in graphic design is around $5,000. So basically what he did is scam $5,000 from Adobe and Maxon

I would like to know the reason behind this forum ban - if it's for using illegitimate software, then please ban me from the Graphic section as well - in fact, ban me from Sythe please.
If it was for the whole "too similar" signature situation, it had already been resolved, and he should only have gotten a warning - not a forum ban.


Please tell me - as I can't think of, nor find a valid reason for this.

 

I would count torrrenting, downloading music the same as using illegitimate software, if that's the case, you can ban me as well.

He has good intentions, why are we banning people for helping others? I hope the moderators open up a vote since Sythe is about keeping people, not making them leave.
