Any1 remember running law runes in W66?? Back when The Old Nite was ranked second b4 he died irl, and before n0valyfe's time?


Was great money making, u just bring 27 essences from the draynor bank to the law alter on entrana. Runecrafters wud give u 54 laws for your ess and you wud just walk back and forth. World was packed 24/7, made my first 5m there and met many top players.

Just wondering if anybody else remembers that? Im an oldy! played rs b4 runecrafting came out aha

 

Yeah. I do. I actually knew The Old Nite in game, talked to him often. Cancer sucks, he was really a good guy. Not many left like him I'm 'fraid.

I remember hearing about The Old Nite, but wasn't running laws back then.

 

I remember doing this everytime I ran out of laws, It used to take a while to get a trade with one of the runecrafters sometimes though :s.

 

Yes I ran Laws, approx 15000 of the bloody things. I remember it was a mad rush before free trade ended.
Never knew The Old Nite, sorry I didn't. RIP.

This used to be around 1.4k laws an hour if you used a Glory to get back
This is really old, probably the first way I ever made money. I got my first santa doing this actually.
I remember it was always packed, all by legit players too, it was insane.

 

Yeah it was pretty sweet. Zezima seemed to just have his public off all the time

 

Or was just botting=P. It does bring back memorys hopefully some of those old moneymaking methods come back.

I actually do. Me and my brother ran laws like all summer, made our first 1M there within a few days. We bought glorys and didn't want to lose the 5k of selling them uncharged and buying back charged, so we ended up having our friend charge them for us.

What happened? And where can I read about what happened?? I quit RS around 2005/2006 sometime and only came back recently, so there are many key moments in RS history that I don't have much knowledge about, if any. If somebody could fill me in I would like to know what happened? I think I remember my bro talking about some kind of in game funeral in a church where everybody had their redemption prayers on.

 

I did that for so long, I couldn't believe it when I found out about it haha. Such good times in RS. Made my first few mils there!

Old Nite and n0va were both cool dudes. Peter (zezima) was an alright fellow too but honestly, he had waaay too much time.

 

I remember this, it is why I became p2p.

 

my friend and I talked with The Old Nite back in the day. 2006 when he was getting all 99s. good times man. I remember when my friend told me The Old Nite stopped talking with him, i told him he died. my friend was in disbelief.
