RS Names?

Yeah I know this is probably a noob question.
Upon buying a rs name in the selling/buying section, what do they mean ready to transfer?
Doesn't it take a month for the name to be available? Or is there a way I'm missing..

What 'Ready to transfer' status means, is that the account has a Month of membership so its able to be transferred.

Ready to transfer means you can transfer the name directly from the account you bought.
Usually you must wait a name to be available for transfer.

 

Basically you are saying when the account means it's ready to transfer, means I change the name to whatever then I can log on another account and put it as the name that the other account was? Like ASAP

 

No, although there are ways of doing it that don't take a month, even they are not instant and will take a bit of time to complete.

 

Ready to transfer means the sellers name is available to change on which they change their name, making the desirable name available for you to change to you're character.
