quiting runescape because of no bots?

I love the game now it's so much better, good riddance to all you botters and your bots.

 

That's really good to hear that bots are being removed..

Who wants to play a game where it's main focus is Who bots the most?

 

Same, finally things should hopefully start to go back to normal with the removal of nearly all botters.

 

Bots are not coming back. So guess you might have to raise it yourself.

Im not happy about this loss of bots. What makes me even more mad, is the fact that Jacmob made us wait for that counter to end just so he could say that he went to Jagex. Thats pathetic.

 

I won't quit RS, although, if I get the urge I'll probably play legit for awhile but then again I probably won't be very active on it. I haven't been very active since late 2009/early 2010.

 

They will never fully get rid of bots, also Jacmob has always spewed false facts about RiD before, during and after the bot nuke and I would really like to see him be able to get rid of RiD. He talks a mean game for someone who sold out.

 

Already sold my main and staking accounts. Gf runescape/ sythe activity

 

I havnt played legit for years and this won't make me start. If ibot fails aswell I'm going to have to learn simba

Bye rs, I cannot really be bothered clicking the same things over and over. I tried legit play for 4 hours yesterday, alching. One of the most tediously boring things I've ever done. I seriously don't understand how people can play rs without botting. It's dull, and you feel isolated.

Yes, for an hour or so it may be slightly entertaining, but it's so darn repititive, you're essentially doing the same sort've activities for hours/days/months/years. Why would you want to stay on a pc, to do something a 'bot' could do in the same sort of time, when you could be outside having fun? etc.

 

If you are rich or a high level now(110+), then most likely you will like to play now.

If you are poor or a low level, most likely you would want to quit.

 

I don't have a problem questing and playing RS legit but I hate grinding skills. I like RS without all the goldfarming bots and I think it's a lot more enjoyable. However my playtime might go down with MW3 and Skyrim coming out next week.

 

I like it without the bots, brings back the social feature that hasn't been used since 07.

I will continue to play my main legit. I never botted on him, but I did have other accounts botted which I'll admit does make me a little sad to see them left behind.
That being said, I personally enjoy RS without bots. This just gives me more time to play or hang out with friends instead of constantly checking 17 accounts (ran on mine and a friends computers). I seriously spent 2 hours or more a day worrying about those damn things and making sure nothing stopped.
