Which Do You Prefer To Play On

Playing on tanks is fun, good kills, better than playing on a 1 def pure. Mains get old after a while. I made my tank my main lol

 

I play on my maxed turm zerk way more than my 80 def maxed main with 96 summ. Turm zerks can pk and do pretty much the same as mains.

I prefer mains for the most part because I mostly PvM and it's nice to be able to use whatever skill you want when you're maxed. If I want to stake, then I use a range tank. I don't like maxed staking.

 

Mains are fun for overall RuneScape activities, but pures are there for a little bit of fun ;D

 

Honestly, it depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Mains are great for bossing, questing, and doing whatever you want without the risk of experience in an unwanted stat. Jagex is starting to add quite a few high-combat things to the game, so it's good to have a maxed main handy when I feel like adventuring with the content.

Pures are great for PKing (obviously), skilling, and getting achievements (Such as Fire Cape, or a Slayer Cape). I personally prefer playing a pure, as I deem it more fun and challenging. There's a lot more things to worry about, and I like being a bit under-powered in the world. A sense of accomplishment is felt when you meet a challenging goal.

I have a 1 defence pure. It's not an amazing account, as it's still in the works. It's 68 combat, with a Fire cape, and I am in the midst of questing it so I can use the Dragon Scim, have Ancients, and god books etc. I've tried all the kinds of pures, and a 1 defence, 60 attack is definitely my favorite.

I play on my pure to do fun stuff such as pk'ing. However, overall i find a main way more fun as you max stat pking is great fun, bossing is fun and good gp etc.

 

I prefer med-level mains, 75 Defence, 80 Attack, Turm, Rest maxed.

Great for pking, great for PvM, great for skilling, great for everything.

 

I find mains are the most fun to play, but I still prefer to play on my skiller.

I got a Range Tank and a main, I prefer the range tank because well, It can do anything a main can do and pk. It can wear the same Armour's and do the same bosses but when your bored you can run into wild not risking much and still have a chance to pk something good. I also have a 1 def pure that I quit cause I was sick of getting owned by rock crabs

 

Well I have been playing RS again since June and although I still own my old main account, I have been playing ONLY on my Barrows pure (other than using my main for a couple weeks to make some extra money killing frosties).

My "Barrows Pure" has 75 defence, and so he could pretty much be considered a main account aswell. He is almost 100% maxed out except for 2 attack levels, and I find that 75 defence has hardly even been a challenge so far. I haven't really done any bossing yet though, so that could be a challenge lying that awaits... I absolutely love playing on the account though, even though he doesn't have all the quests and non combat advantages that my "main" does, my barrows pure is much stronger and just more fun in general, and I have put so many legitimate hours of work into him that its nice to see him coming together to a finish

I like pures too, I wish I still had one! That may be my next project after this character is finished..
