Modern Warfare 3: Hardened Edition

Where the hell can I get it? EVERYWHERE is sold out, even online. Gamestop, Wal-Mart, BestBuy.

 

Why would you even want it? It's an extra shiny case and a book along with it or something. Seriously not worth the extra £80.

 

The only reason I'd be interested in it is the for the year worth of COD Elite.

If you show up at retail stores [brick and mortar] they always have a short supply of the actual Hardened Edition. I work for a Walmart store, and we've got one box of 6 for the Xbox 360, versus 6 boxes of 100 for the regular edition.

Show up early, get in line. It's worth it.

 

Your best bet it to try and reserve one, or see when the retail store gets their latest shipment

Amazon still has it and the release is only a couple hours away.

 

It's released here already, although I can't access it for another 5 hours . I don't really see a massive need for the Hardened Edition, unless you're a hardcore COD fan.

 

Lol, my local Walmart they had 15 Hardened editions left. Unfortunately I didn't have enough money to buy it

 

Got this yesterday and I'm up to level 40, really enjoying it so far. The maps are small and there is not a lot of places to camp so it's great if you're a run and gun type of player.

 

Just cracked out level 50 and I've got to head to sleep. You'd be right about level design though. Certainly not many places to sit still in this one. That will probably change with DLC though as many consumers will complain. [they will either way]

It's just too bad that the Elite launch didn't go over smoothly. Great service in Beta that just fell apart on launch day.

 

I'm a level 63 or something already call this game overrate. The quick scopes are rediculius and it's not that fun IMO. I play 6 games and I'm bored.

 

Same, I'll still play it. But it's not as fun as MW2 was when I first started playing that. I won't be buying anymore CODs until they do something about the 7 year old engine.

 

When you're building the title for a 7 year old console, and your title maxed out the Direct X 9.0c maximum capacity of the Xbox 360, what's the point in upgrading the engine? You'll notice that the PC version of BF3 is vastly better than the console...

 

Ebay and craigslist certainly have people selling then but for like 150 dollars.
