Are You Interested In Runescape More?

I have been playing Runescape from back in 2004 and when I got to 2008 my life was much more busier so I was on and off, not playing seriously though. I have been able to keep up with all the new updates/weapons and I love me some Pking.

After the Bot Nuke, all the bad features of Runescape I hated have perished. Wether it be the Economy, it being Lag-free and the whole Player-Base.

I want to know how everyone else plans to pursue their Runescape Careers after the big update.

 

there is uppers and downers. for people like us who dont have time on our hands we cant bot and this will cause the $ of gp to go wayyyy up.. The upper is lagg will perish, also not everyone will have 99's in wild, we can sell or gp for $ soo save up . BUt over all this is for the best.

 

I'm going through a time in my life when I actually have more free time and less social time and responsibilities than before. Runescape is actually a good alternative that keeps my mind off of my real life problems and keeps my busy when I am at home and need something to do.

But the game is extremely addictive once you get back into it, and so I am struggling to make sure that my priorities go homework > RS, and not the other way around I can definitely see myself playing this game very seriously for the next 6 months - 1 year. Maybe longer, depending on how things in my real life turn out in the future.

 

These days I rarely find myself sitting down with plenty of time to actually play the game >_<
A good 90% of my time in game is spent pking, with the other 10% spent restocking supplies and buying gear
After awhile I'm sure my social responsibilities will clear up, but as of now im stuck to late night playing /:

 

Yes that is the main problem, at this part of the year I have no spare time at all so I am seriously thinking of freeing up some time. That just proves how addictive Runescape really is.

 

I've found myself to be playing a bit more than the occasion hour, but nothing on the scale of what I used to play. I may play more over Christmas.

 

I'll be starting back up when the RS buddy timer hits 0 and nothing happens except a bunch of complaints. I'm not willing to get back into things now, then it all be ruined by mass goldfarmers farming every resource including slayer - Which I enjoy most of about the game.

 

Yea I hear you, I am hoping to start playing before the new Slayer Cave.

 

I plan to continue working on my 1 defence pure. I have a maxed melee main, but I just can't play it anymore. It lost it's luster long ago, and I'm not sure why.

I've always been very fond of pures, but I just haven't had the drive to work towards one, until recently. I'm really getting into it, especially with the bots gone. I come home from work excited to get my stats up, and wondering what adventure I'm going to go on next.

I currently have pretty much everything I want on the account so far, (Fire cape, Robin set, over 70 ranged, etc.) Just have to buckle down and do the quests so I can get Ancients, and all that other jazz. I'm pretty much the biggest quest noob I know. I haven't done a 'new' quest in quite a few years.

Other than that, I will be focusing on mainly Ranged, and a bit of Strength, (maybe 90 or so), and then starting up Slayer. 99 Slayer on a 1 defence pure is <3.

 

It has dwindled my interested ALOT. after playing legit from 2001 to 2011 bots added something i have never experienced before. after they got removed *for a short time i hope* i can't bring my self to level skills that i dislike anymore.

 

I've played this game from 2002 till 2008, then I've quitted for like a year or so, after that I started botting. Did that from 2009 till like 2 weeks ago.. I work from 6:30 till 17:30 every day.. after that I go see my gf or I work-out. So I rarely have any time left for gaming! I wish I could play more again.

 

The game itself lost it's 'thrill' back in '08, I started playing again to bot up to a really high level so my cousin and I could do some GWD for something to do over winter break.

If you stop and think about it for a minute the game really isn't that great when there are so many other F2P games that are so much better in nearly every way. All of the game is end game, there is nothing at the beginning and middle but grinding.

 

I don't plan on pursuing it lol. I've been done with it and hope to stay that way
