    Sir Aracus

I just started playing this game again after many years and I'm trying to keep a log of some sort here.
Tips are welcome, so if you're reading this might as well give me some.

    I'm back!
Sorry I couldn't keep playing much last time I was around, but now I've started again, as this is an allright way to kill time while doing my school work such as math and soldering circuits and so on. :)

Anyway, I was shocked from all the things that have changed. I'm totally clueless how I'm supposed to play nowadays. I tried all the money making and xp methods I used before but they're all obsolete.
    Fuck.

I've tried doing some xping but turns out it ate up all the last of my coins, so I would appreciate if you could give me any tips regarding anything really. Help a noob out will you. :)

Screenshot of stats as of today.

Got my defence to 70! What should I wear for armor now? Nothing expensive though, I'm poor as bananas, got something like 5m and half of that is invisted in my current gear.
I've been trying to figure what's good melee xp for me but I only seem to get 50k xp/h at fire giants and 60k at deadly red spiders.

Any goals in mind? If not, then that's my advice. Set a goal and work towards it.

I'd start learning Dungeoneering - I assume you are F2P since all your P2P stats are 1. It would be a good idea to maybe learn Dung in F2P, before seeking better options in P2P.

Dung will benefit all of your stats a fair bit, since there is fighting and skilling involved in every dungeon. The only trouble I could see you having is finding a team at your current combat level (but that shouldn't be as much of a problem in F2P!).

If you have any particular aspects of the game you enjoy more (so you would like to level stats associated with that aspect of the game), I can give you a lot better advice once knowing what you would like to focus on.

As Sillymonkey stated , I too , suggest you pursue with learning the steps of Dungeoneering . It's a fairly simple skill to get used to . It will also benefit you in a lot of other skills as you train through it , plus the rewards as a benefit . It's somewhat fun too ! I suggest starting off doing solo dungeons until you have a fairly decent level to do teams .

I'd say dungeoneer as you will use all the skills and some people actually enjoy it. Besides that, I would train some crafting because it's pretty low.

Actually I am P2P, but just started out so my skills aren't that high.
I don't know anything about dungeoneering, are my skills even high enough to do it?

I'd start dungeoneering, there are no level requirememts to start it.

Yes you are , people have started dungeoneering from scratch on level 3s . Once you do a few dungeons you will get the hang of it , trust me . I felt the same way in the beginning and that it was too hard to train . Now , I can easily pull of a dungeon . . .

I'd like to get my attack up so I can wield a whip. Are there any chances that I can make this character good at pking?
Also I'd like some advice on the boots I got, should I sell them?

I'd suggest selling the boots if money is tight for you at the moment . And yes , dungeons must be completed using combat , but there's skilling involved aswell .
Also , this account does have potential to become a good pk'er , you just need to invest time and effort and pay close attention on quests and skills needed .

ULTIMATELY dungeons need to be completed using combat. Throughout the dungeon, though, there are opportunities to skill (including skill rooms where you have to use a particular skill to open the door).

It is a great place to earn XP in a variety of skills, particularly for lower-leveled accounts.

As an added bonus, the rewards you can buy with the tokens are great ;)

So like what kind of a PKer would it be and roughly with what stats?
I'll sell the boots seeing as I have no gp at all :(.
I'll do some slayer and try out dungeoneering. Do I need a partner for it or something?

You can easily turn that into a Tank Hybrid or a Barrows pure .
Barrows pures can always be maxed or even started out at mid levels .
Dungeoneering doesn't require you to have a partner but yes , you can use up to 4 different people in your team . In my opinion you should start off doing solo dungeons as it helps you get the understanding a lot quicker .

What's a tank hybrid? I had my ass handed to me in the wilderness, I was minding my own business killing dragons and some mage just stormed on me :(
