    F2P pk'ing question

I made a F2P pk'er a few days ago, and so far I've gotten him to 42 ranged and 32 constitution, and I've been doing really well in the wild, my only deaths are from lag outs, but I've heard that increasing my strength for a two hander would be better for pk'ing is this true? I figured that straight ranged would be better in the long run for lower combat level and higher hits/

    F2P pk'ing question

Range 2H Combo's are quite the way too PK

This is what Range 2H's Do.

They Range there opponent till a little HP then take out the 2H quickly to hit a massive K.O So if you go with this make sure you bring STR Pots and have a decent stat for Strength possibly 70+

Ranged is decent at the lower levels, as you hit often, and pretty high with it. However, pure rangers do not get kills as often as a range/2her would. Especially at around level 40+.

I personally prefer ranged to melee in F2P, but ranged only rarely gets me the constant KO's (only if the person I am fighting is willing to DM.) Train your ranged to 60+, then work on your Strength, and 40 attack, of course.

Well you shouldn't get your Ranged too up maybe 55 range would be decent.

    F2P pk'ing question

I personally prefer the higher Ranged, as I am selective to when I use my 2h. Ranged really rips through defence. The 2h is definitely superior for stopping power, though. ^_^

Oh okay I know what you mean, it is difficult for me to get the KO unless we agree to a dm, I'm going to take your advice and raise strength up now

    F2P pk'ing question

Last thing, if I get my ranged up to 50, what would be an acceptable strength level to start KO'ing in the wild successfully?

    F2P pk'ing question

I'd suggest an equivilant Strength level, or higher with 40 attack.

Get it around 60 and pot so you stay semi low combat but can get a good hit

    F2P pk'ing question

Get 70 strength and if you use a strength pot you'll have 80 strength and you'll be able to max 20's+

    F2P pk'ing question

tradition f2p pkers utilize the rune 2h in place of a member's only speccing weapon.
Str+range = your best friends for f2p pking
