Jagex and Bots: Losing money!

Over 40 Worlds are gone lol...

Jagex must be losing a lot of money...

 

Not necessary jagex saids months ago or years most of Goldfarm account use Fraud Payment and jagex was losing money.

 

not really...most of their money comes from advertisements. Anyway I figure they really only lost around 10k member accounts in this nuke. It only looks bad because most bots were people lvling dung, craft, etc. while botting. They still play, but their accounts aren't logged in 24/7

 

not true, jagex made it so that its hard to use stolen credit cards, most goldfarmers actually use legit payments these days.

 

They Banned over 10m Accounts....

 

If you really think this, you are very gullible. When was the last time you ever seen even 300k people playing.

 

40 worlds are gone not necessarily means that they are losing money.

It just means two words to you. GOOD FIGHT.

Because they are EXTREMELY confident that the bots won't be back, so it's time to cut down the cost to upkeep the servers since bots won't be overflowing the worlds anymore. And therefore, it is a very wise economic decision.

If you guys really think that RSBUDDY is going to be back up in a couple days or so, then you are really gullible. They are using the a strategy called strategic marketing, to keep the income from scripts flowing, after a couple of days, I'm not sure what chaos or hell will become of the botting sites.

I just want to say, over the next few months or years, RiD will be be down too, just saying.

 

At the end of the day, Jagex had to atleast show people they weren't going to let cheating happen without them "trying" to stop it though.

 

Honestly , shutting down all these worlds is completely logical . Due to them banning a large majority of the bots meant many of these worlds shouldn't exist anymore . This worlds were there because more players entered the game , which in fact , where bots . More players calls for more worlds . Now that there aren't bots these worlds are useless . Why pay for these servers when they aren't needed anymore . They did a smart move financially .

 

jagex banned of 10m accounts and as they said on runefest they are banning over 9k account per min

 

I think they're planning long term eliminating attracts newer members and more genuine players.
