What's going on with bones?

Dragon and frost bones are dropping and like hell. They don't even sell at -10% for frosts?

Is this just the merching clans dumping? Or what? Are the bots back?

I currently have 3k frosts and 5k dragons, should I hold onto them? I'm pretty sure that without bots the prices for both would eventually rise again?

Anyone tip me off? Thanks

 

It is probably something to do with loads of people dumping their stocks. I don't believe many bots are back yet (although there are a few), but the market is just too turbulent right now. The bones only ever rose in price in the first place out of anticipation for the upcoming bot nuke, and the prospect that no bots in the game would mean resource prices would skyrocket. However, the demand for bones probably hasn't changed much, and the supply of bones is not nearly as limited as people thought they would be.

There has been a HUGE increase in legit players who have been killing dragons and farming bones ever since they started to increase in price, and so there is still quite an abundant supply of bones in the game regardless of whether the bots are supplying them or not.

 

Wow, I just bought 99 Prayer a few days ago.

At least they're dropping for when I get 95 Prayer on my new pure.

 

no more bots = higher dbone prices
Before the bot nuker, i was told it only costs 70m for 1-95m
now im sure it is much more expensive <_<

 

the price will prob keep on dropping when rsbuddy gets back up too

 

I would sell them considering RSbuddy is going to be online in 2 days meaning autos at the dragons will be back

Yeh but frosties has that aura that rebounds damage now, but hopefully trigoon can fix that...

 

I bought 70m worth of d bones, 3 days later I had 130m worth . I spent them all on 95 prayer though

OT: The price is probably dropping because people are selling all their bones due to rsbuddy coming back in 2 days

 

No bots = Panic
News of bots returning = More panic to re-sell stock.

 

its the effect of the bot nuke,

first few days they went up like hell, everyone stocking up on them. But within 2 days the bigger stocks are starting to get sold, causing the bones to go to med price wich then gets noticed by the people who quickly try to make some profit out of it. And they try to panic sell wich causes the drop.

1. Bots won't come back.

2. Dragons are good money (why there were so many bots in the first place). When bots left, players came in, almost creating the same supply as before the nuke. Demand was only caused by the nuke announcement, but they still had that supply to dump.

3. Overtime bones will increase. However, right now there is too much supply.

 

RSBuddy is just saying they are coming back so people will keep buying their scripts until then. Any smart businessmen would do the same. As for the bones, I wouldn't worry too much. They will always be in demand for the people trying for turmoil, which is just about everyone with a pure these days...

 

Gotta think in the economic state of mind...
