Font Problem Firefox

Hi guys,

I've been having a problem with the fonts on Firefox. The font is fine but as soon as I install Age of Empires Gold It seems to turn bold. Is there anyway I can fix this? I have already tried the following:

- Reinstalled Firefox
- Restored Fonts to default on Windows
- Did a system restore
- Did a system format (did format due to other problems not just this)

I've looked online and it is mostly mentioned to download and restore the Arial fonts, which I have done many times. Anyone got any other ideas? The font changed AFTER installing Age of Empires Gold. If anyone can find a solution it would be highly appreciated.

You need to dry adjusting the preferences on Firefox itself instead of your computer.

Tried reinstalling and changing fonts on Firefox. I just need to turn off the Bold setting somehow.



It is all in Bold when it shouldn't be, anyone got any ideas?

 

Bump, anyone got any ideas? Nothings worked so far. I will be downgrading back to XP in a few months, but I would like to see how to fix this for the future.

 

Why are you downgrading?

 

XP is better than Windows 7, many of my games work better with it plus I'm more used to XP than 7. Don't get wrong Windows 7 is great, it's just I prefer the older XP . But I will come back to Windows 7 in the future, and I would like to know how to fix the problem with these fonts. Something of which not many seem to be able to fix.
