RSBuddy's new bot client available in...

um why did rsbuddy take down there scripts cause they arent gonna scam your money once the clients up im sure theyll reinstate script buying

 

I think its going to be longer than 3 day fagex was for real with this update and its going to be scetch at first.

 

I feel like Fagex knew that bots would come back...

This is quoted from their threatening email:

"Regardless of who you are or how long you've been with us, if you decide to cheat and bot ever again we will have no hesitation in: (1) permanently removing your account from our wonderful community in order to protect Jagex's rights under the DMCA, and (2) naming you as a defendant in Jagex Limited v. John Does, which is a lawsuit based on DMCA violations that is currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Civ. Action No. SACV11-00969-CJC). "

Basically, if you ever bot again they said they would ban you and threaten to sue you. Well, if your bot-nuke really stopped bots then how would you bot ever again?

Unless of course they were referring to RiD but I doubt they will ever be able to detect that for a LONG TIME.

 

Well his previous estimate was 4-6 days off.. see how this one turns out. But he is a remarkable scripter so I have no doubt he'll get it done eventually.

Hmmm very interesting. I wonder if the client will actually meet this deadline. I will be thoroughly impressed with RSBuddy if they have the client FULLY functional, running smooth in 3 days. As talented as some of their programmers are, with all the hype from Jagex about how amazing their new system is, I suspected it would take atleast a few more weeks for any of the bot clients to get caught up to speed.

Can you imagine the looks on their faces at Jagex Headquarters in 3 days if they come in to work and load up RS and notice the amount of players online has increased like 70%, subsequently logging in to a bot infested Runescape. That would feel like a slap to the face lol.

But if bots do come back...I bet Jagex also has better detection software. This might actually end up making Jagex more money since after 50k people apply mems to their bots, they can just ban them. Then repeat

isn't the timer just an ETA? as in an ESTIMATED time? or is it set to be released as the timer hits zero? I feel like this is just another way to hype us all up for another let down.. Everybody will be all excited and then they will come back with another "well we still have some minor tweaking to do, but we will have it up by the weeks end." Sound familiar?

 

I love how the bot makers are better programer the jagex ever thought. I'm sure there will probably been a hole lot more then needs to be fine tuned. Congrats Jacmob your a beast
