Favorite Anime movie?

Mine is ‘Your Name’. It is in fact my favorite movie of all time.

In fact I would argue that Makoto Shinkai has made the best anime’s movies of all time. They just haven’t received the same publicity as creators like Studio Ghibli(not saying anything negative towards Studio Ghibli)

 

a silent voice was better, in plot and characters, than your name and those came out close in time to eachothr. plenty of flaws in the writing with your name and the sub pplots were just hthere to fill space and nvr rly got details.characters were bland, partly because of the plot, but also cause he nvr found time to show us who they are. th e way the movie flowed wasnt tht great. his later movie weathering with you is way better than your name

 

I have watched all of his movies. I don’t know man Your Name just hit me emotionally. So did Weathering With You of course. Suzume was decent as well.

A Silent Voice is phenomenal as well. Top tier characters and storyline.
