    wtf :/

As I'm typing this my laptop has about 21% battery left. I don't know what's wrong, but all of a sudden my laptop charger isn't doing anything. I've had this computer for over a year and never had a problem with it charging, but for some reason today the charger stopped working? I've unplugged it and plugged it in again sometimes it has fixed the problem, but now it just stopped working no matter how many times I do it. wtf? Is my charger dead? Do I need a new one?

lol I'm not that stupid.. The outlet is fine. Everything else plugged into the same outlet is working just fine. And even the charger cuts on and off sometimes when I move my laptop a bit. Maybe the cord is fucked up? idk

Does your charger have 2 cables? Plugged into a box? Move the cable around that is plugged into the box it could not be connecting properly. Or maybe bad connection into your laptop? I have had laptop chargers go out before so not uncommon.

Most likely you will need a new charger. But if that doesn't work then it will be the battery. I know this because it happen to me when my charger stop working.

Maybe you gotcho self a short in the wire. Just try playin with it by twisting and bending it until you find a position that it connects in. Then, getcha some duct tape and tape it up right nice so it stays in the position it works in. I do that shit with my phone charger all the time.

Is your laptop HP, by any chance? had the same problem as you with my laptop. Currently at the shop and they're diagnosing the problem. Most likely it's the power management thingy within my laptop since it gets really hot after 30mins.

Eh this thread is kind of old, but

@kill dank, yeah I think that's what it is. It only works in a certain position. I may just buy a new one.

@ppaolo yes, my laptop is HP, but I think it's just the charger.

    Toldya.

Just get some duct tape or something and find a position that it works in my pinching the wires and stuff. When you find the position, take it up right nice so it can't move.
