Why do you play runescape?

Alright so I started playing runescape probably about 6 years ago, I've quit many times and ended up coming back but this time I haven't yet.

The reason I've quit for real this time is cause there's really nothing to do on the game that still interests me, I had over a bill and i really couldn't figure out what to do with it so i just got bored with it and ended up quitting.

I was just wondering why some of the people on here still play runescape and what they still find exciting about it?

Or if you quit like me, why'd you quit and do you ever wish you had something to do when you were bored (because i know i do)?

Just curious about these things cause when I get bored, I like to come on this site and look around.

I used to play legit up until about 2009 when I first discovered bots. Seems like I was out of the loop then. But now if you play legit you are out of the loop. I remember getting my first D Med. Smashed coal rocks for a good week to afford it. That was when it was 1.2M. Other then that I am trying to make money off Runescape. I have the money to invest into it I just dont have the tactics.

 

I play because I enjoy playing it...Not really anything else to say..I have quit a few times when I stopped enjoying it...then I came back to find I liked it again...

 

I play for the acid like effects of sleep deprivation that it causes me of course.

I just play it for pking on the other hand it fucked my life up and I'm hating runescape I'm selling my accounts quitting soon I got GCSE exam on 4th Nov ''Real'' and I'm probs going to flop.

 

I've played ever since I was a kid, so I guess in a way I'm trying to re-live some of my childhood and I really want to nostalgia but the game is so different now that it doesn't happen very often. I guess that false hope attracts me, and plus I can't quit a game until I beat it, and I'm not even 50% done RS...

 

I joined to gold farm. Thats about it.

 

On one of my mains, I try to become the best PvM'er that I can become.

On my other main, I am trying to max that account's skill total at the moment...Dunno what I'll do on that account after that, maybe PvM like on my other main.

 

I joined to rank up my skills. Still currently doing that, RS isn't what it was though and I never log in as much as I used to.

 

To make money and get EXP to 200M. :]

 

PK and profit.

 

I play runescape because I enjoy pking and mini-games, it's been through a lot of changes; but I'm still playing it.

 

I don't really currently play, I sometimes login to my account(s) just momentarily and get bored then log off. No fun in the game anymore unless you got mad cash.

 

I play to pk, & for my friends. Everytime I try to quit, somehow; someway they pull me back into playing.
