Sythe Offical Shop

Ok, so i was thinking and looking over threads and i thought of an idea, of course this would be a investment on Sythe himself and probably the sythe community but, what IF:

Sythe has its own Official shop. Some items could include:

T-shirt
Hat
Sticker's
Posters?
Key Chains?


Yes i understand Sythe would be making sort of a investment, but i think in the outcome it would be a great, huge and successful idea. Plus with the amount of donations sythe receives daily could probably cover all of this. Now im not saying go huge or anything but Start off small with maybe 2 different types of shirts and maybe 2 different types of hats.

Things that could be on the Shirt:

"Proud Member of Sythe"
"Sythe Community"
On the Front say "Sythe" and on the back say "Craiglist Of Virtual Goods"

Some ideas on the Hat:

"Sythe Junkie"
"I :> Sythe"

These are just idea's of what could be on the items. All im saying is that sythe should open a shop and section for this and just test it out, order like 10 shirts and hats and see how it goes. This i think could be a great addition to the Sythe Community, not to mention prosperous that could affect Sythe greatly in the future.

 

Where would it be based for Shipping Purposes? and would it be Worldwide?

I don't think it would bring in enough money for it to be worth his time/investment. But personally I would buy a shirt or two if it had sythe.org written on it.

 

You'd have to question how many people would buy such things.. Yeah, I don't think many will.

 

Personally I'd rather by killed then seen in a top like this, my friends know "Sythe.Org" has referance to RuneScape a LOT, and they say RS is sad blah blah, so I pretend don't play it.

 

Im sure it would be based somewhere, where sythe (The owner) is located and with the wide variety of members we have here on sythe i can probably guarantee it would be worldwide.

I think it would, but this is why i said to try a test, buy a few hats/shirts then have them done with all the sythe logo and stuff then open a official shop and seem how it turns out.

I highly doubt that. I mean if someone is willing to donate, why not buy something that you can keep for ever.

 

Same here, thats what my family tells me, but i dont get discourage because someone teases me or something, and you shouldnt either. I personally have Sythe pride and would love to wear a t-shirt or hat around that says that. Also, you dont have to wear it around your friends, hell you dont have to wear it all but i sure as hell would probably hang it up on my wall or something.

 

Been brought up before, even by power global mods and it went absolutely nowhere

 

Sythe.org is not an online store or at least I'm sure Sythe himself never intended it to be, therefore I disagree with this suggestion as the market would definitely be limited considering donation payment methods are also currently limited.

 

Then it should be reviewed more by the Adminstators, and not just thrown outside the window, this time they should try it, or atleast put more thought into it.

This suggestion is not saying "Oh we should turn sythe into a huge store instead of a market" Basically im saying we should just do a gift shop. And yes payment methods are limited, but i believe if they added maybe 2 guys on this, just like FireZ they each could accept different payment methods and then send them to Sythe through a payment method sythe would much prefer.

 

I am quite sure they had already put some thought into this during the first attempt at this suggestion in the past.

However due to the limitations (and as you've pre-suggested for FireZ to accept, for example RSGP, as a payment method for this) it would simply inflate the prices of the products due to the initial production costs and shipping & handling fees.

And I never remarked that Sythe.org should turn into a 'huge store', I was merely stating that Sythe.org was never initially set up for sell their own products, instead simply uphold a large community of interest.

I am certain they will never put this through a 'trial period', let alone implement it.

 

Not many people will buy as I dont think there are enough active sythe users.

This would work for a Forum which get like xxxK hits every day.

Well if they dont now, i suggest they try it later down the road.

Which is why they should put it through a trial to test it.

Yeah, it would be cool if they set up a small shop to see how it went.

 

No offence here, but unless there is an event for all sythe members to go to,
are you really going to wear sythe clothing out? like, picking out some jeans and your sythe hoodie and beanie.

Yep.

So unless a T-shirt comes with a donation rank, I still doubt it will be succesful.

I would support this, it would be good advertising for sythe, but it would be hard to get going. Maybe a contest should be held for GFX artists to design some cool t-shirts or hats.

Also, to all the people to embarrassed to wear these, is your social life really that bad that you can't tell your friends what you spend most of your time doing?

 

No support, due to i think it wouldn't bring in enough money for what it worth.

 

I dont think this would work good. Who is gonna want to wear Runescape cheating shirts?
