I don't think those few suicides would even be comparable to the growth of the human population.

 

Maybe they just ran out of room on the calendar... You do know those things have limited space, right?

....Actually the Hollywood movie was created out of the event that is supposedly going to take place....not the other way around...

...And the hollywood movie does NOT represent ANYTHING of what the actual event is supposed to be like.

 

It's an overeaction which the public feeds on..

Though it is possible. And if it does happen, I will welcome it.

 

Christians and Muslims will know that know man will know when the End of Days will come. This is depicted in the Holy Qu'uran and the Holy Bible.

 

How many times do I have to post that '2012' isn't supposed to be the end of the world........

 

2012 has been given the wrong sort of hype as being the end of the world blah blah.

21st December 2012 is the said to be a day of cosmic shift, a day when humans will reach a higher potential, which could be anything from an increase in mental capacity, to a shift in the cosmos leading to a scientific discovery that would change the world indefinitely, or as mentioned by certain scientists a solar flare.

With references to religion, the Bible and the Qu'ran completely contradict each other, each has their own views on religion and the end times. I don't have any knowledge of the Qu'ran but in the bible it does mention that man won't know the time or the date, it will happen in the blink of an eye.

It also mentions that many will be deceived by false prophets, which i guess could link to the many scientific theories regarding 2012, and the end of the world. The day has been tagged as the Apocalypse and the end of days, which actually ticks one of the signs of the end times on the check list, but does not relate to the event itself, from the biblical stand point.

 

The events that are predicted to happen on December 21st, 2012 are supposed to lead to the end of the world (as we know it). That just sums up what TheGreatest states above. I don't know why, or how. But, that's the prediction. I personally don't think it's going to happen, considering room for the calender ran out when this date was written.

Also, it if were to be a solar flare while there is a cosmic shift, isn't the radiation supposed to kill us? I guess leaving a mutated few, possibly, for an increased potential of the previous form of human.

 

Yeah one of the theories is the polar icecaps would completely melt creating another Noah's ark scenario.

 

Ok well there are some limits to what people should believe in, I am a huge believer of thoeries but honestly the 2012 theory seems to have no proof and has failed many times. I WOULD be VERY VERY surprised if something like this actually happens which i highly doubt.

Idk if it has already been said but tbh, they HAD to stop somewhere. It's impossible to make calendars for the rest of forever, at some point they had to say, ok that's enough we are starting to get a little excessive, and they did that. Or, even if they planned on continuing to make them forever, their civilization ended.

My point........if they had made it to December of 2013 before something happened for them to decide to stop or their civilization ended, we would all be having these conversations a year from now, and if it was November of 2009, we would have already forgot about it......

I was taking it seriously time ago, but what got me: if it was true, ppl would have done more more much to protect from this.
