When I make a thread selling something, I don't want bitch ass 14 year olds posting that they should trade with caution or they don't think I'm trustworthy or they don't like the fact that I don't want to give my account's information to a MM.

This is seriously fucking pissing me off, excuse my language, but it's the biggest downfall of this community. Every fucking time I make a thread, little kids who think they're legit as fuck post and flame and make me look like a scammer and I end up selling on a different forum.

I really want the staff here to do something about this shit cause it's really aggravating (obviously).

Read the bullshit, I have 2010/2011 members trying to "inform" me about the Sythe community, telling me how to trade, how to put up my rules, and how to do this? If you don't like it, HONESTLY just get the fuck off the thread. I bet you my dick and balls they had no intentions of buying the account in the first place.

Do I really have to make another thread like I did for my iPhone? (which I sold to my irl friend for 100$).

It's fucking ridiculous - ironically, they'll be banned for scamming in the next few months and I'll still be here.

As Austin has said above, use the report a post button and us moderators will promptly infract/delete the said posts - unfortunately we can't trawl through hundreds of threads a day to find things like this, so we rely on the original poster and other diligent members to alert us to them.

Some of the users you are bitching about are more trusted than you. If you want to keep being thick minded about trading and not trusting middle men who have dealt with more money than what your possessions are worth then expect to get flamed.

 

You can't expect to be flamed in your own thread... they have no right to impose their views and opinions on it unless they're interested in the sale.

 

I understand what you're saying but what I'm saying is that the flaming is going to happen whether or not it is allowed or not due to the traders actions and how he carries himself. And some of them were interested in the sale.

 

And they'll be punished accordingly.

 

The point of the OP (atleast imo) was that people are posting negative not that they are not being punished. My point is that if he keeps acting like hes acting then people will continue flaming (and being punished).

Basically it's like looking through life that everytime something happens it's never your fault it's everybody elses.

I'm confused as to how this is "bs"? You're choosing to ignore every safety precaution possible, not to mention with an extremely well known individual. Logically, if you refuse all the precautions used in order to have a scam-free trade, it's safe to say, AT THE LEAST, to "trade with caution".

Because you're essentially saying it's my way or the highway. It's a complete bullshit, naive, SELFISH, view. Take into consideration both parties when trading - not just your own. As far as I'm concerned, you're acting like a little brat.

It's been made clear that the moderators are going to make an increased effort to further moderate these kind of posts, and it's generally great practice to report all members posting things like this in other market threads.
How you handle yourself in the Market is completely up to you - whether or not you choose to take certain precautions, or if you turn them down, then sometimes you may have to cope with the consequences (in this case being objectionable posts).

We can all grow from this, and possibly a few people in this thread could learn to have a bit more of a calming response to any matters at hand

 

Nobody will ever trade with you with this attitude. You need to learn to trade correctly and safely and you will be fine. MM's were made for a reason.
