Botting & what has it done for you? (in all)

I would like to ask everyone a question, how have you used macro/bots for what you do?

brief:

Bots have a lot for me, I started botting runescape only recently when I came back to RS on 2/11. Before that, I've used macroing software such as shortkeys and and an RS autotalker and an autoclicking program to make things easier for lots of stuff. I used steamstats (TF2 idler) to get item drops on a game (if you play, you will receive special items), and this automated program literally logged around 1100 hours of in-game playtime for me and I didn't need to play or leave up a minimized game. I then used a botting program for a prize website in competition with other users called Lockerz, a prize website where they used to have good prizes and features. In exchange for botting, this got me a 4th generation 8GB iPod touch, a bunch of paypal cash, an xbox 360 + a few games, a completely free 25th anniversary edition Wii (it's still in the box, I received it a long time ago and I still haven't opened it), various cool 4GB/8GB USB 2.0 flash drives, mouse pads, some other stuff, and even some halloween costumes. It's interesting that they were also working against bots and adding anti-botting features such as flash interfaces instead of the regular HTML clicking items as well, including captchas, but these were easily bypassed. Since then, I started botting runescape it has progressed my account a lot, even though bots are bad, they're nice.

Bots has definitively give me more time to do other shit and make rs more enjoyable IMO.

Also learning how to make bots is one of the best way to improve your logic thinking, for example I was able to use simba to make a automatic can counter for my first year engineering project.

 

It has given me rather alot, i must admit that.
Not alone by a very great wealth into my bank, and previous banks, it has also given me alot of spare time, i can either spend on relaxing or staying together with my friends.

At the moment, as bots are down, i only do staking, wich is pretty much the only thing to enjoy, besides Slayer. However, i have gotten borred of that, therefor botting it.

But yeah, overall botting has made, a happy face for me.

 

bots in RS gave me time to work and earn real money while my account was still being worked on.

 

Gave me 94 magic, shit was cash.

They've changed the way I look at runescape. I just use a bot for everything now. I think to myself that there's no point wasting time training skills or whatever when there's a bot that can do it for me

 

I'm at uni and in the evenings I work, so I literally have no time for RS and was sort of growing out of it anyway.. but then I came back to Sythe and started botting, it allowed me to get my account ready to play the fun parts of RS like PKing, castle wars.. 'cause when I was playing legit, I was just spending all my time trying to level up and not actually enjoying the game.

So bots pretty much extended my RS career, I was sick of playing legit by about level 60 (in all skills). I think Jagex make it take too long to level up & the chances of getting an expensive drop are ridiculous like 1 in a million literally. I thought that was a joke and got fed up with the game relatively quickly.

Bots have let me play the game the way I want to, Jagex have gained alot of money from me (that they otherwise wouldn't have) due to the fact that there is/was bots available! I haven't impacted the game negatively in any way so fuck Jagex and all the whinging faggot no-lifers!

 

Bots have made me numerous thousands of dollars, have gotten me countless 99's (on different acc's), and opened up a huge chunk of social time for me. Sure has given me quite a bit of stress though; haha.

 

I started botting because of classic and since then, I expanded my knowledge in using bots and actually creating my own. The bots I make are very similar to Simba's, and I don't share it with anyone nor is it that advanced. This helped me to think logically, something that I needed in my personal life career that I am pursuing.

Botting hasn't made me any money, since I've never thought that I would profit that much, but I do see a lot of potential in it now, especially after bot-nuking day.

I've used bots to pretty much, save my ass some time and to multi-task for me while I do other things.

When I'm sleeping, I'd gain a couple hundred thousand XP in RS, or generate items in other games that I know is easy to utilize bots.

Heck I used to bot the crap out of FarmVille, but since FV is so laggy, my bots failed more often than I could handle.

But the potential of botting is still there. I see a lot of possibilities with it. Dropping 28 items in 1 second on RS is an amazing feature. Something that goes beyond normal human means.

Never gold farmed.
