    Do i deserve a refund?

    Ok, so around a week or so ago, i paid a trusted sythe member (wont mention name) 33m to get me from 89 to 99 str and 75 hp to 80 hp. Due to the bot nuke, he was not able to complete my order and got me 95 str and still 75 hp. Am i entitled to some type of refund or do I have to be satisfied with these stats even though i PAID 33m to get 99 str and 80 hp?

    Just wait a week or so then make them resume the order - bots will be back :)

    The bot nuke is out of his control obviously.

    Personally I'd request a partial refund.

    I know laws don't really apply on Sythe, but its against the false advertisement act. You PAID for 99str, so you should of received 99str. I know its not this members fault that he is no longer able to complete your order, maybe just ask politely for a partial refund and pay him for the work they did. Or as FYL mentioned, give it some time and they can complete your order. :)

    Just wait a few days and see if the bots are back.
    If it doesn't then just ask for a part refund.

    and yeah he said no refunds, i was just wondering if Sythe has certain rules about this.

    I don't see why you didn't just sell the 33m and bought some bots yourself to train it...if you are willing to expose your account to botting as you obviously were, that would have been a better option...

    It's scamming if he decides to not complete it w/o giving a (partial) refund.

    I think he owes you a refund. I'd contact him to try to work something out. It's not entirely his fault, but I do feel that he should refund you because he cannot complete your order.

    Talk to him first, but if you can't work something out, report a scammer and see what the staff thinks (as a last resort).

    a week or so ago, there wasn't any huge risks from botting with a paid bot.. and i didn't want to buy a bot, thats why theres a training thread on sythe.. so that you can pay people to train your account for you

    You should get a reasonable amount for a refund.
    Since you payed 33 M for about 8,192,316 XP (248,252 XP / mill) and you're only at 95 strength (which is about 3,929,000 XP up), you should get about 16 M back.

    3,929,000 / 248,252 = 15.827 Mill
    Then you can pay for level 95-99 strength when bots are back up.

    That would go under the scamming rule. what happened was out of both of yours control but the order was clearly not finished.

    He is obligated to give you a partial refund based on the XP he did and did not achieve - regardless of whether or not it was within his control. If he does not issue a refund then he will be banned...
    This is the wrong place to post something like this, but I'd advise you to talk to him about it.

    Same thing happened to me.

    Paid for dungeoneering training, got very little XP, so i asked for half of what i paid back, and he said "he was scammed".

    GL to you though man.
