    hey,
    i saw that email/message being sent out, and at the bottom it said something about us law. so if i dont live in the us they cant do anything?
    is that right?

    they can't really do anything if you live in the us...its just a scare tactic to make sure you don't bot in the future...

    Yeah as the guy above me said, its more of a bluff to stop everyone caught botting from ever doing it again..

    I really don't think out of the 100,000 botters there were, they would target individuals..

    If they are going to sue anyone, its the creators of the bots.

    The case was brought up by the DMCA so they could sue you in your country but I doubt they will.

    The problem is once they get people in the States,
    they will be able to seek reparations for 'damages' elsewhere
    IE) your country
    This is how precedents work in the justice system
