[RiD] Having problems? Look here!

Updated, europe seems to be down? reports please?

 

At this moment it seems as though we are under yet another DDoS attack that is affecting all of our servers including the botting servers.

 

Fishy is having 8 people supporting a bot I'd never heard of up until 8 days ago as if the bot was created by Jagex themselves to support the players. Something smells wrong about all of this.

Might just be me, but those who are left after a nuclear disaster tend to just be the cockroaches.

We've been up for years. We were up years before our forums came up in January 2010...

Whoa! Whoa! This is where my argument stops, I think some of them have been advertising but I know they aren't part of Jagex. I've known about RiD for a while, but Trent! was the only member here that actually discussed/used it in detail.

RiD is actually one of the oldest bots around and you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Just because you haven't heard of us doesn't mean there is anything fishy going on. We actually had one of the most active threads in the cheating section.

Nobody has heard of RID because the scripts aren't that useful and the pay as you go system is very offputting..

 

RiD is currently trying to fix the DNS filtering etc as people are still showing up as "Bad Traffic"

As for the question i shall try and get a estimate but i know RiD is working hard to try and fix it!

 

The main aim for RiD is to be used with valuble accounts. This means that we don't make gold farming scripts etc. Instead RiD works at making the most effective bots to train levels, which is usually not a money making way.

Currently you can make money doing various things via the RiDiverse bot.

The pay as you go system is currently seen as a cheap method of botting. With normal bots you'd usually get say what? 100 hours before a ban which is 15$ for the auth.

RiD currently works out at 8cents an hour and grouped with being Undetectable easily makes it the most price effective bot out there both before and after the Nuke.

 

This isn't true, I 24/7ed IdungeonPro for 5 days and I haven't even received one of the botting emails/message center messages. I have seen people who have 1000+ hours on some auths. That statement is a generalization because people who don't read feedback on scripts before they buy auths.


So are you guys still getting DDoSed? Any word one who is doing it?

We have ideas about who is doing it but we won't be saying until its over. And yes we are still under attack.

About the hours, we have users on the forums that have used upwards of 5,000 hours and beyond and have not received a single ban yet. We have countless users with 1000+ hours botted with no ban.

Personally I have botted 1800+ hours now without a single ban.

But I agree, a lot of the people that got banned were the ones who ran an auth 24/7 for weeks at a time thinking it was ok. If people botted intelligently there wouldn't be so many bans constantly albeit there still would be some.

Ahh, I get it. Thanks for clearing the air. I see what's going on now. I admit it's a clever marketing ploy, and reading over the massive thread of what RiD is, I understand it much better now. I'm still wary of using bots as the amount of people hacked it terrifying, but good to know there's one that's been around a while and is still working.

Sorry when I posted I didn't realize you already had like 5 people reply , also sorry if I was being a bit harsh but I am a bit defensive when it comes to RiD, habit I guess. Botting isn't for everyone and honestly I have respect for people who can get a 99 legit because I know I could never get a legit 99 even if I tried. Aside from botting we actually have quite a mature community.

 

Not everybody gold farms.. most Nexus users just had 1 auth per script so that meant they were only using 1 account.. the appeal lies in the GP/h and you guys failed to see that imo. Just having a script that earns a decent GP/h doesn't mean you support gold farming =/

You can use that auth forever on however many accounts you wish.. instead of having 1 main you can have 3!

That diverse thing had my attention but I've never heard anyone talk about it since it was launched.
