What movies scared you as a child?

Pumpkinhead.
Exorcist.
Freddy vs Jason.
Chuckie.
Friday the 13th.
All horror movies pretty much.

 

I forgot about pumpkinhead! The first time I watched it I couldn't sleep for days.

 

Chucky and The Shining scared the shit out of me. It's not so bad anymore though, because I visited the real Stanley hotel.

I found E.T. to be really creepy when I was younger.

The fact that my dad had me watch Chucky when I was like 3 left me with nightmares for a while.

I found the Ring to be really scary. What scared me is that I paused it in the start right as they showed the girls dead body in the closest, so when I came back and saw it...her face was messed up, just had a look of pure terror.

 

Nightmare on Elm steeet is my favorite horror movie I use to love them as a child.

 

Okay, as a little kid, I'm talking about 5-6 years old, I watched that Magic School Bus episode when they went into some haunted mansion house filled with echos...... That really scared me bad..

as a child Jeepers creepers, i remeber watching this is my family when i was young and first ever came out i was shit scared but now a days its a chuckle.

101 Dalmatians...Cruela De Vil really freaked me out, lol.

 

The Ring... watched it when I was like 12 and it was the first horror movie I watched.

Haha definitely. The Ring. OMFG. I watched it when I was around your age too, in my friend's house, holy crap, and the girls weren't as scared as me lol, so I felt like a pussy, but yeah, the sound effects and all that, it definitely spooked me for like a week or two, even until now, which many years have passed, it just kept me off the movie, it's interesting how they used "common" settings to scare us psychologically.

 

IT and The Sixth Sense. D: I was 5 when I saw The Sixth Sense.

 

Mine was signs when I was around 12 years old, don't ask me why hahaha.

For some reason the scene where they went in the boat scared me in charlie and the chocolate factory

 

Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elmstreet are a couple.

 

E.T. Also scared me quite a bit. That one part where he's near-dead next to the child all skinny and shriveled and stuff, I watched that part when I was like 6, and it freaked me out.
