You are totally deluded. I'm seeing a negative shift in demand and as such I do not predict a large bump despite the decreased supply.

Any reason you'd see a decrease in demand?
From what I gather, it's mostly the non-botting (semi-legit) players who end up purchasing gold (once it's gone through resellers, gold stores..). How will the bot-nuke have affected their demand?

This was my impression as well. In fact, if players can't bot their gold, they will either have to quit, or buy gold (which should increase demand as well). I could be delusional, or I could just be hopeful. I'd be happy with a return to at least $0.6-$0.7. If not then meh... I supply myself anyway. :D

I would guess that a lot of people who bought gold used it on buyable skills like herblore. Since they will no longer be able to bot them, they will no longer buy gold.

I kinda disagree with Viou as to how much the demand for gold will decrease. I'm actually expecting a slight rise in gold prices, but probably not too much more than that which already happened.

I think there'll be always people buying. Taking the herblore skill for example. Everything in rs is based on status. Since it's harder to get 99 in herblore the status of the herblore cape will go up. When the status goes up there'll be more people willing to gain the 99 goal. When people want it they're gonna pay for it.

I think gp prices will raise but people will still buy since the status of 1M rsgp will go up.
