ebay question..?

Ok, i got a $50 ebay giftcard from a friend. i found out you need a paypal account to spend it. i am 16 and i dont have a paypal account or a credit card. I asked my dad to let me use his, and he said no, so not sure how to go about using my giftcard. my sis told me to use his account without his permission, or use mom's credit card to make a new paypal account, and that since im not really buying anything or charging anything to their cards, its ok and they're never find out. she told me that the bank will not notify them at all and there is no way for them to find out.. Is there an easier way, or is that way ok since the card is mine? any advice would be VERY appreciated. I dont know alot about paypal and ebay. (as ive never bought anything there before)

 

You can just make a paypal and use the gift card through paypal..

Paypals are free and only require an email address to make.

And if you charge it with your parents CC it will show up.

 

If all else fails I'm sure someone will buy the gift card off you for a reasonable price.
